Guest Report post Posted March 23, 2002 I missed the Rumble this year, I was just wondering if its out on tape and DVD yet. I think I heard it was. Does the DVD have any extra stuff? I like DVDs, with all their audio/visual advancements over VHS' as well as the special features,etc.. but all my actual Wrestling events are on tape. (All the WM's and Rumbles, the only wrestling DVDs I have are Hard Knocks and Cheap Pops, as well as 2 ECW ones) So I figure I'll pick up the Rumble on tape, if its cheaper, and theres nothing extra worthwhile on the DVD. Also, when will WMX-8 be available on VHS and DVD? I Tried to order it, but it didnt work on Sunday or Tuesday, so I'll have to buy or rent the tape when it comes out. Last one, anyone know what the price would be for WMX-7 or RR2002 on tape or DVD? I might take a run out to the mall and pick one up today. Thanks.
Guest Tony149 Report post Posted March 23, 2002 The Royal Rumble 2002 is already out on VHS & DVD. It's probably around $24.95. WM X-7 might be $34.95, since it's 2 DVD's. Then again, it's been out for year, so the price may have gone down.
Guest Report post Posted March 23, 2002 Ah,thanks. Is that 25 for the DVD or the VHS? Or both? I thought WM was 35 last time I checked, which was a couple months ago. Is it 2 disc's just because its a long event.. or is there extra stuff on there?
Guest teke184 Report post Posted March 23, 2002 WM X-7 is $20 if it's carried by your local Wal-Mart. All single-DVD PPVs that they sell seem to be going for $15, but their supply seems to be limited to Vengeance and Rebellion 2001 right now. (BTW, the sound on Rebellion SUCKS, but I guess that's par for the course on the UK-only PPVs.)
Guest Smeghead Report post Posted March 23, 2002 RR2002 is out. WM18 will be out at the end of April according to Amazon. Prices depend on where you go. List prices are usually $20 for VHS and $25 for DVD, but some stores and most websites will have lower prices.
Guest Report post Posted March 23, 2002 I doubt my Wal-Mart has it, I haven't checked recently, but they don't seem to carry any wrestling DVDs. I'm gonna have to go out to the Suncoast Video in my mall. They have a big selection, but everything's always so #### expensive there.
Guest Some Guy Report post Posted March 23, 2002 Try Best Buy and Circuit City they have good prices. $18-20 at Best Buy and about $17-18 at CC. Best Buy has a better selection.
Guest Tony149 Report post Posted March 23, 2002 WM X-7 is 2 DVD's because the last 3 matches of WM are on the second disk. There's some extras on both disks.
Guest Report post Posted March 23, 2002 I checked out bestbuy.com , and it seems to have the best deals. WMX7 is 22.99, and this years Rumble is only 19.99. I'm trying to get all the Rumbles and Wrestlemania's on tape for my collection, but I suppose a couple on DVDs wont hurt. I'll probably pick up those, as well as WMX8, and 15 on DVD. The rest of the WM's are at my video store, so I'll rent those and tape them. The problem will be getting some of the Rumbles, my videostores got rid of all the good ones. Me and my buddy are trying to find RR97. I was telling him about when Mil Mascaras eliminated himself from the Rumble, and JR's like "I dont think Mil understands the concept of the Royal Rumble." :D Anyways, thanks guys.
