I have it on my computer. The Christian overtones he injected into it are amazing, and honestly nearly brought me to tears the first time I saw saw it.

Great video. We've had a few discussions for it over the last couple months though.

Probably the best video I've ever seen.

Also, the NiN version isn't half bad either.

I taped it off of t.v. when it debuted on VH-1 and CMT simultaneously awhile back. An interesting note is that the House of Cash museum featured in the video is a real museum and really was closed at the time due to flood damage, but it wound up so fitting.

The whole American Recordings III: When the Man Comes Around is one of the most powerful and haunting albums I've ever heard. I you liked Hurt, give the whole disc a listen.

American Recordings III: When the Man Comes Around

I thought that was IV

My bad, it is IV. I skipped III because it was subpar and lost count.

That's odd, because I downloaded the entire album off of Kazaa before buying it, here's a track listing, trying looking individually.

American IV: The Man Comes Around

1. The Man Comes Around

2. Hurt (great)

3. Give My Love To Rose (great)

4. Bridge Over Troubled Water (so-so cover really)

5. I Hung My Head (great)

6. First Time Ever I Saw Your Face

7. Personal Jesus (nearly as good as the Hurt cover)

8. In My Life (so-so really)

9. Sam Hall (great, funny song)

10. Danny Boy (nice, moving rendition)

11. Desperado (great)

12. I'm So Lonesome I Could Cry (very heartfelt)

13. Tear Stained Letter

14. Streets of Laredo

15. We'll Meet Again

This is by far in moy opinion the best video ever made. The song the video...it's so frigging good it's haunting.

I had to explain to my mother yesterday, as she was watching the video, that it was cover of a Nine Inch Nails songs. To which she replied, "Who?"

It's quite possibly the saddest, most depressing music video I've ever seen.
