Guest Tony149 Report post Posted April 28, 2003 OK, I didn't bother responding to your PM because I was pissed. Caboosea nd I proposed an angle and then you guys go and change everything and on top of that have us lose every match. How are we supposed to work with that? We give an idea, you change it, and then bury us. Why would we even want to do that? I was disillusioned with the place and then that happened and I was done. I think you do have an idea of what you want OAOAST to be, you want it to be all pre-planned, which takes all of the fun out of it and destroys the foundation of the thread. This was originally a place to go and do whatever you felt like on any given day. I think this place needed to be organized but it went too far. We came up with an idea and wanted it done really fast, it didn't happen because of three months worth of planning that was already done. We wanted the suprise element to come back, I felt that was taken away. I never PM'd you. I said it never popped into my mind to do so. And like I said, I didn't know what I was doing, it was a mistake for me to have you all lose the matches. I don't even remember the results of the three PPVs we did with the angle, but I'm sure the aWo won there fair share of matches while BPP was writing our feud. The only thing that was planned for the OAOAST title matches; we didn't think better to do the angle ASAP. After we did the aWo reunion in October, the place got more looser. We started pushing the fact it's the people writing the shows, not us. I can't believe you think I have some vision when I'm totally clueless to what's happening around me. I had an idea on what I thought the OAOAST was about, but I never pushed it besides the planning of the OAOAST title matches. Should we have done your angle faster? YEAH HELL! But it was the inexperience on my part that fucked it up. I've said it before, I'll say it again: it's not my fault everybody seemed to think the place was changing. It was THEIR job to write the shows, and figure out what they wanted to do. It's nice for you to think the change back to a more old school OAOAST way is in part because of you and the rest who voiced their opinions, but the real reason is, the members started to understand THEY'RE the ones who decided how the OAOAST goes...not us. All Zack, BPP, Kotz, Eskimo, SP and AS do now, is work together answering any questions, fixing any misunderstandings, and posting that weeks IZ, HD or PPV inside GCF. We've learned from the past, but many aren't able to forgive the past and look toward the future.
Guest Some Guy Report post Posted April 28, 2003 EDIT: this was in response to SP's post. It will work well in storyline terms and i don't care what you say. All I ask is that you guys understand where we're coming from with our frustration. If you weren't around in the begining it's hard to understand how much this place has changed. I think it's better now than it was after the start of shows and PPVs but the fun that we all had just fucking around at the begining will never be recaptured. You can't recreate fun, it becomes forced. I like how the shows work now. I like that if you don't like how one "booker" does things that you can go to anotehr show and work with someone else. I wouldn't have come back if is BPP was still in control of the whole show. From my experiences with him before it would have been hard to be able to come back in a way that I wanted to. Zack asked me to come back and let me do whatever I wanted in my promo and that seesmt o have gotten BPP to be willing to go back and forth with me on a potential angle. You're correct, I wasn't here. So I don't know. In some ways, I wish I did. It sounds like you guys had an absolute blast with it. Like I said, everything in the Trinity promo was at it's base shoot. But only at it's very, very base. As i said to AP, any specifics or calling out to people in there was character eye view. I freely admit I wasn't around for alot of it or I wasn't a mod for alot of it and had no access to what was going on. So I'm the last person that's going to throw his two cents in on any legitimate discussion. I will say though that if I spot any BS going on, rest assured I'll be the first to speak up about. I don't expect any, though.

Well, I'm back and looking to the future right now. Tony, you did PM me, I quoted it in my first promo. Those are your words. My issue is that we said we wanted it to go down wuickly and you and others (appartently) decided to space it out over months. We didn't want to wait months to start doing our thing again, we wanted to start right away. I can't believe you think I have some vision when I'm totally clueless to what's happening around me. I had an idea on what I thought the OAOAST was about, but I never pushed it besides the planning of the OAOAST title matches. Well, there you go, that's your vision and that's what got in the way of the angle. You guys had a few months of PPV MEs worked out and that interfered with the plan. I've said it before, I'll say it again: it's not my fault everybody seemed to think the place was changing. It was THEIR job to write the shows, and figure out what they wanted to do. It migth not be your fault, but it has to be somebody's. There was a reason why the originals thought this place was changing. It was because it was changing. And I think it changed too fast for us to adjust and went too far for our likes. I'm not blaming you directly, I think it was probably a combonation of a few things. It's nice for you to think the change back to a more old school OAOAST way is in part because of you and the rest who voiced their opinions, but the real reason is, the members started to understand THEY'RE the ones who decided how the OAOAST goes...not us. I'm not sure they would have known that if we didn't speak out. Certain people seemed to be content with booking guys the way they wanted to despite them complaining about it. Read, BBP and Angle-Plex. I think we definately played a big part in shifting the focus back to the boys and away from the "bookers".
Guest Angle-plex Report post Posted April 28, 2003 Wow . . . I wasn't aiming to "bury" any of the old guard. Not at all. But, I guess that works (in storylines). I dunno. *shrug* Yeah, I meant that as a GOOD thing. The trinity promo seemed to destroy the old OAOAST for good, so now you guys can put all this behind you and focus on the future. Foshi 0 Report post Posted April 28, 2003 Hmmm, seems BPP has some beef. Well, scheezix, I'm taking this slab of T-BONE STEAK and throwing it down on yo doorstep. Pick it up when you can.

Guest Big Poppa Popick Report post Posted April 29, 2003 huh? i havent posted in this thread for awhile lemme say this: Im in agreement with SG here on all this...I think we were a pendulum...and we went waaayy to far one way...and when youre a part of the problem you cant see itunless you get slapped silly that happened, we see it now...gcf is a very friendly place after all the bullshit i think we have more randomity now than a few months ago...ever since am2 i think we started getting back on a track...while maybe every doesnt 100% like...it is still something that is now fun for everyone. Hesitant about the brand split because i didnt know if we had enough people, my concerns were proven wrong...the split has worked great... im enjoying this sg/bpp angle...and i dont have a clue how itll play out...i hope we do this by ear...and just feel things out...its kinda whats going on i think everywhere...there's a loose structured story arc now...but everyone is free to find their niche this is the happiest ive been in the oaoast in a long, long time. and for everything that i did, my head was probably in my ass and i couldnt hear the complaining...and for that, i have apologized... i just thought confidential was supposed to come out!!! darnit caboose! your teasers are making me want more!!! this has been a rant by bpp
Guest Tony149 Report post Posted April 29, 2003 SG, I assume you're talking about the revised verison I sent you about the angle, if so, that's true, I did PM you. But I never remember PM'ing you when we started using the angle. But it's all in the past now. It's a new OAOAST. Let's run with it.

Guest evenflowDDT Report post Posted April 29, 2003 Hmmm, seems BPP has some beef. Well, scheezix, I'm taking this slab of T-BONE STEAK and throwing it down on yo doorstep. Pick it up when you can. OMG FOSHI~ Great show, I admit I usually skip over the long matches (damn you short att...mmmmm....ice cream...my favorite film is Chopping Mall 'cuz it's the one with the robots that fucking robots man, they're like taking all our manual labor jobs in a few years there'll be like no demand for unskilled speaking of unskilled whatever happened to that alfdogg guy anyway?, I think this joke's been run into the ground, yea grind her fingers! grind 'em up good!), but this time I stuck through all of them and was pleasantly surprised - long matches actually are quite readable and enjoyable. Who knew? Uhh... in more specific commentary, I liked Superstar/Some Guy's match, although my favorite Superstar match still is (and probably always will be, at least of his OAOAST material) the empty arena match vs. Chris Jericho. Good luck in SJL man... and true to my word, I've been reading yours over there. Wish you could've left on a better note. And BPP's right in his original response, I told him in AIM yesterday that I needed a bit of time to chill out and take a less meaty role for a little bit. It's no conspiracy... unless BPP's really my professor in disguise. Zack, I haven't seen a bad match out of you in a long time. Your match against me continues this trend. And, in a land where Goldberg's back from the dead, it's nice to see a GOOD streak in wrestling for a change, even if it's not real. Thanks for making me look good again. As for everyone else... I'm already a Foshi and Vitamin X mark. Two promos, and I already realize they're that much better than me. THEY BOTH NUMBAH 1~! Oh, right, gotta bring the DRAWMUH~! (what is this, WDI? [OMG CHEAP SHOTS OUTSIDE THE CHEAP SHOTS FOLDER~! BAN PLZ~]) ... I never really liked the aWo idea anyway. It just seemed stupid to me. If it was a parody it would've been fine, but as I saw it, it was little more than an imitation (albeit one with a few more members). It's probably just because I'm not a huge fan of stable wrestling anyway (it really simplifies things so much... I think about 3 people to a group should be the cut-off so everyone's allowed time to develop). Maybe I just wasn't reading between the lines? Anyway, that's my first and last piece on OAOAST's history, since it still seems so amazing to me that so much cyber-blood is spilled over... well... "a stupid geeky little e-fed"
Guest caboose Report post Posted April 29, 2003 oh its gone... Confident are we? im still here... but im stephen joseph now Am I meant to care? bpp = dead See you in hell. he is retired This is still a Wrestling E-FED, no one is ever 'retired'. never coming back I've got to see it to believe it. im waiting for you to call bullshit caboose...hurry up!
