Anyone remember X-Pac's shoot interview he gave on his first night back, the RAW after Wrestlemania XIV?

 

X-Pac's "shoot" words were:

 

"Hogan you suck..." and

 

"Kevin Nash and Scott Hall would be standing right here with me, if they weren't being held prisoner (in WCW)".

 

Would the WWF ever consider replaying that clip to give a bit of "reality" or "legitimacy" to a X-Pac v Hogan mini-feud?

 

I wonder if Hogan, Hall, and Nash are still pissed about the comments.

Hogan said that Syxx (X-pac) couldn't "cut the Mustard" on Thunder right before X pac's WWF re-debut.  So him saying that Hogan sucked was just a receipt.  Why would Hall and Nash be pissed about what he said?  They might really have wanted to be in WWF at that point.

I don't think most of the writing staff was watching the show in march 98, so they probably have never even heard the promo.  Sadly I'm not joking, I really don't think a lot of the people righting the show were watching then.

X-Pac probably remembers that promo. I belive Hall & Nash really wanted out of WCW in 1998. That's why when D-X "invaded" WCW, they shouted "Let our people go!"

Might be interesting, and put a little bit of legitimacy into a program, but Hogan fueding with someone X-Punk's size?? Anyone remember the Kidman fued.

Yes the whole Hall and Nash prisoner/let our people go stuff was the fact that Hall and Nash were upset about the Xpac firing and various other issues they were butting heads with management about.

I did like the fact that Xpac said "i've been waiting 4 years to do this" on thursday when he joined the nWo.  Gives it a nice.."real" feeling to it for those of us who remember.

I just wish they would've done this for the nwo angle from the get go.

 

By the way, does anyone remember the quasi-desire video right before No Way Out? If you remember, toward the end of the video, you hear Vince say that he is bringing the poison ,yada yada, Michael Cole says the nwo is coming, what are we to expect.(or something along those lines) and the whole time you hear Vince and Cole, they have single shots of all the main eventers as if they are looking on in curiosity or anticipation. That video was a great selling point to me when this nwo angle was about to go down. Since then, I do not have the anticipation or intrigue about the nwo anymore.
