We are almost postitive that Dr. Jho's Miracle Surgery performed on Kurt Angle was a Complete Success. And Angle is said to already be training for his returning almost to the point he was willing to take bumps just two weeks after the fact. We're Estimating that Angle will return around Late Summer... So How should he return? A lot of People believe that Angle needs to return right back where he left off at and resume his fued with Lesnar and have that HUGE WWE Title Rematch at Summer Slam. However, I had a different Idea... It was said in the Angle Article that Kurt was strongly helping out John Cena and He felt that Cena was a breakout star in making. That INSTANTLY sparked an Idea in me...Why not do a Austin/Hart thing with Angle and Cena. Understand what I mean? When Hart lost his WM title Match to Shawn, He disappered from WWF. Austin was rapidally rising as a potential Breakout, Esp. after Winning the KOTR and starting his 3:16 phrase. Austin began mocking and Calling out Bret and that gave him tremendous Heat...Finally, Hart was forced to return and get his hands on Austin and Bret Hart won that return match at Series and Austin got the greatest rub of all time. I was thinking Cena oughta do the Same with Angle...After Cena comes close to Beating Lesnar tonight...Have Cena go through a Rampage...Destorying Eddy, Mysterio, Rikishi, Benoit and whatever face you may have... Cena should start calling out Kurt Angle around June...Hell, Some People suggested Cena should have a Entrouge and Shelton Benjamin and Charlie Haas could work as his Protection...It also fuels the Angle/Cena fued. So Around July...Have Stephanie McMahon announce that Kurt Angle returns at Summer Slam and he'll face John Cena. Yes, instead of Lesnar/Angle II, we'll have Lesnar/Benoit as the WWE Title Match instead and Angle returns to Face Cena. Angle doesn't make any apperences before Slam just to make his return all that much BIGGER...Angle and Cena have a classic Match and Angle goes over...Cena gets a Great Rub... That Means, You create a Major Monster Heel in Cena and you give Angle a great Face Run to return with... This Allows you keep Angle/Lesnar away from each other until Survivor Series or perhaps the Biggest Stage at WMXX in MSG. You don't need to rush back to Angle/Lesnar, because you'll always have that waiting for you and the story is already cemented... You can Run with Angle/Cena for Months and It will perserve the Angle/Lesnar Rematch. Any other suggestions... Have Kurt show up on Raw out of the blue around July/August and have him literally kill HHH dead and win the belt (which would also serve as a way for HHH to placate the locker room prior to the wedding). HHH goes to SD where he can have his oncamera reconciliation with Steph to lead into their wedding (and to prevent the dredded Sullivan curse about oncamera/offcamera relationships) and have him feud with Brock Lesner and UT.... Guest godthedog Report post Posted April 27, 2003 cena is SO not ready for a push like that. ring skills aside, he's not even over enough yet. he's got a schtick, but he doesn't have a character. at this point, he's still just a goofy white guy who raps (which is why nobody cares about his title shot tonight). if he started calling out kurt angle for a long-term program while he was out, people everywhere would be scratching their heads, cause it just wouldn't seem right. he needs to build some real credibility (and unless you're getting a god-like lesnar/goldberg push, quick wins over a few top guys doesn't give you real credibility). When the hell will he get a convincing win? Why can't he look like superman? Brock Lesnar is a good guy to carry that title but what's wrong with Kurt? What more could he possibly give to the company before he gets pushed as the big thing like Rock, Brock,Austin,Taker and Triple H? What the fuck is the deal with that? Fuck putting Cena over ANGLE. There ARE no franchise guys anymore. Triple H has singlehandedly forced himself to be one, but then yopu have him and Brock alone. Angle is in dire need of becoming the third of this generation. Cena is nowhere near ready, although it is amazing enough by himself that he's managed to get a rap gimmick over. He's just a gimmick right now, though. Not a character. But they have shown no interest in doing that (I agree that's stupid thinking on their part), so you can't just have Angle not being pushed and not use him to make other people like Cena. You put Angle over some people and maybe we'll talk in a couple years. he's gotten some on-and-off monster pushes through his career. rocky gave him the rub in a BIG way by dropping the title pretty cleanly in a great match, and the 6-pack hell-in-a-cell was pretty much specifically set up for the purpose of making angle look like a survivor. but trips killed that, & the rock got his win back. then in the summer of 2001 he got the monster face push and was really looking like superman on tv (especially with the elimination tables match against the dudleys). but his character got mishandled & turned into a watered-down steve austin, & the october 8th raw killed all his momentum. but i do agree that, by all rights, angle should be getting the 80s flair treatment right now. and where'd he say that he was being used as enhancement talent? i don't remember seeing that anywhere.
