Guest Mystery Eskimo Report post Posted March 23, 2002 Big Show has been in England on promotional duties this weekend, and I've seen him on TV and heard him on the radio...and he seems a really decent guy, loves the business, good sense of humour. I always criticised him, but in future I will try to say something nice about him and his wrestling. Which should be a challenge.
Guest teke184 Report post Posted March 23, 2002 The WWF needs to put Big Show in a comedy role like he was in during mid-2000, wrestling matches as Showkishi or The Showster, among others. That's about the only way he's gotten over since his abysmal WWF title run at the end of 1999.
Guest bps "The Truth" 21 Report post Posted March 23, 2002 When you are as bad as the Big Show...you HAVE to have a good attitude...or you won't last long. HHH should take note.
Guest converge241 Report post Posted March 23, 2002 Hard to believ I was actually into Show during his first real title reigh as the Giant. Its not like he was re-inventing the wheel or anything, he just wasnt so out of shape and seemed like he cared.
Guest Tony149 Report post Posted March 23, 2002 They should Big Show in a tag team with somebody who is a good worker. Have his partner play Ricky Morton, then have Big Show come in, he does his power moves and finishes the guy off.
Guest teke184 Report post Posted March 23, 2002 They tried that by pairing him with Spike and Tajiri, but neither partnership ever lasted for long. I think that the writers didn't really care, so it didn't go anywhere.

I'd make him someones bodyguard, I think that'd be a good use of him.
Guest converge241 Report post Posted March 23, 2002 I agree Tony 149. I always thought the Spike/Show tag team should have been pushed more. I know Spikes not a definition "gret worker" but he can bump his ass off. Remember that PPV where it was 4 way for the tag belts and Show and Spike were in there? The crowd was really into them and got deflated when they were eliminated and it came down the the Hardys and Dudleys. Then they just abandoned the team and Takiri was with Show, then Spike was with Tajiri, and then finally Spike ended up with Tazz. Long story short: Put Show and Spike together again. Guest muzanisa Report post Posted March 24, 2002 When he didn't have the weight he was great. Right now he's in London drinking Guiness. Send him back to Ohio and only bring him back if he really loses the weight; not if you want a reaction at the Rumble. He could be great but needs motivation. Guest caboose Report post Posted March 24, 2002 what they need to do is stick him in the nWo and do his old enforcing character. remember when he destroyed ddp and the nitro set to save bret's US title. if he went around just absoloutely destroying the fuck out of challengers he'd have so much heat it'd be like the big bad monsters of old. i'd just hope it was someone else and not hogan who takes him down after at least 6 months of destroying people. marks would pay shit loads of money to see show taken down by a smaller face
Guest cobainwasmurdered Report post Posted March 24, 2002 i agree with caboose, it's been a while since they did a good old fashion monster push. while i hate the big show, it would fit him. but first and foremost they need to change his name. THE BIG SHOW??? i mean come on thats so lame, the Giant was a better name.
Guest Mystery Eskimo Report post Posted March 24, 2002 Looks like Brock Lesnar is getting the monster push.
Guest caboose Report post Posted March 24, 2002 why not build to a showdown(pun intended) between lesnar and the big show, they can both go on six month obliteration runs and get tagged together, lose and then battle to inflict individual defeats on each other(the first in 6 months) make a deal of how they haven't faced anyone like each other
Guest Mystery Eskimo Report post Posted March 24, 2002 That would be good booking. And hence, we will not see it in the WWF. It would mean less TV time for Steph, for god's sake!

I wouldn't doubt you know exactly what all those dumb "marks" want. And if this did happen, there would be complaining about the Big Show crushing smaller, better wrestlers who deserve a push more than he does. why not build to a showdown(pun intended) between lesnar and the big show, they can both go on six month obliteration runs and get tagged together, lose and then battle to inflict individual defeats on each other(the first in 6 months) make a deal of how they haven't faced anyone like each other Wow ... great idea. I hope that fucking Stephanie is taking notes. Cutting straight to the match ... it'd likely be a letdown. Lesnar probably won't be able to do any of his impressive power moves on Show and Show doesn't have many impressive power moves to begin with.
