Guest BoboBrazil Posted April 28, 2003 Report Posted April 28, 2003 http://surveys.wwe.com/ppv/index.html
Guest Trivia247 Posted April 28, 2003 Report Posted April 28, 2003 I wonder if this will be used like the Patriot act 2 if we Do the Survey with are Smarkish opinions, will they know who we are and thus ignore us totally?
Guest tpww7 Posted April 28, 2003 Report Posted April 28, 2003 WWE has video on demand tv programming? that's news to me.
Guest tpww7 Posted April 28, 2003 Report Posted April 28, 2003 Just filled mine out, please make sure everyone chooses strongly disagree with Raw PPV's.
Guest DawnBTVS Posted April 28, 2003 Report Posted April 28, 2003 Sent in my reply...here's hoping we can get the WWE more focused on the wrestling now
Guest Trivia247 Posted April 28, 2003 Report Posted April 28, 2003 It may be the Mozilla not letting me see it.
Guest Doyo Posted April 28, 2003 Report Posted April 28, 2003 It may be the Mozilla not letting me see it. Yes, it is a popup. I also had Mozilla running with the popup killer and had to fire up the good old IE for it to work.
Guest Army Eye Posted April 28, 2003 Report Posted April 28, 2003 All these questions about 'naughty' and 'suggestive' content are embarrassing. Naughty? Are we all 12 years old here?
Guest Jobber of the Week Posted April 28, 2003 Report Posted April 28, 2003 I can't see it either, so it's not a mozilla thing.
Guest Karnage Posted April 28, 2003 Report Posted April 28, 2003 There was like only one thing I agreed with on the Agree/Disagree part of the survey...
Guest Will Scarlet Posted April 28, 2003 Report Posted April 28, 2003 Fascinating. I HATED how they worded a few of these questions, like at the end with the "old superstars" one. I also wish they would have added "too predictable" as a reason for not ordering PPV's. I do not think the survey is going to do much though, but, hey, at least get to be one of the few people who said "Velocity" is my favourite TV show.
Guest Super Pissed Smark Posted April 28, 2003 Report Posted April 28, 2003 I just don't see how many of these questions can possibly help. Do I want more "funny or witty" Superstars? I don't want what Vince thinks of as funny and I strongly doubt he or anyone in his immediate family could even define wit. Do I want more surprises and twists? Yeah, but I know in WWE terms that means nonsensical turns and stuff that is completely illogical. Do I want more intriguing stories that make me think? Think about what, about how stupid the writers are for coming up with such stupid, predictable storylines, and then forgetting about them a week later to move on to something else? More entertaining stories that don't make me think? What in the hell does that mean? Does RAW or Smackdown strike me as rugged? Is that supposed to mean gay? Arrogant? Huh? Stylized or polished? Is that supposed to mean gay? Urban, hip hop, funky? WTF? Athletic or sporty? That must mean gay. About the only questions that can be interpreted easily are the ones asking about quality of the shows and if you've stopped buying PPVs and such, but Vince already knows that the shows suck, we've seen reports over and over that he knows something is wrong, so I can't see them as being helpful. And those last few questions, about former Wrestlemania stars, if they're not about re-issuing stuff on DVD or starting up an all-wrestling network, are really, REALLY ominous.
Guest Space_Cowboy Posted April 29, 2003 Report Posted April 29, 2003 Well i filled it out, now the only question is whether the WWE will ignore it or just not read it at all.
Guest Doyo Posted April 29, 2003 Report Posted April 29, 2003 Imagine if an NBA team had a survey that went something like this: Our team needs- -good centers, agree or disagree -good guards, agree or disagree -good forwards, agree or disagree Now that wouldn't make much sense, of course. The logical thing to do would be to ask the people on a scale of 1 to 5 how important they think each of those things are. But wweeeee can't even do a survey properly, only giving us the options to agree or disagree.
TheOriginalOrangeGoblin Posted April 29, 2003 Report Posted April 29, 2003 Which brand is more hip hop, rap, funky? HAHAHA!!! That is just sad.
Guest Army Eye Posted April 29, 2003 Report Posted April 29, 2003 I know.. WTF were those questions? More hip hop/funky? More ethnically diverse? I don't know man. Smackdown has a lot of hip-hop going on but Raw is just so funky.
Guest Jobber of the Week Posted April 29, 2003 Report Posted April 29, 2003 I said I wanted more funny and witty superstars because I want more guys ala Kurt Angle, Edge, Matt Hardy, etc. I want less Undertaker, Brock Lesnar, HHH, etc style badass ass-kicker guy who's hardcoreness is guaged by how much ass he can kick.
Guest Lightning Flik Posted April 29, 2003 Report Posted April 29, 2003 Wll, I sent my survey in and I doubt they'll listen to it.
Guest buffybeast Posted April 29, 2003 Report Posted April 29, 2003 Well, business is so bad right now maybe they will actually listen. I like how they asked the question, "I'd order a RAW only or Smackdown only ppv". Hell no.
Guest NoCalMike Posted April 29, 2003 Report Posted April 29, 2003 Well, business is so bad right now maybe they will actually listen. I like how they asked the question, "I'd order a RAW only or Smackdown only ppv". Hell no. Yah, but you also probably said you would like to see WWE sign more "super-muscle" wrestlers like Brock Lesnar. Hehehehe, just kidding.
Guest Spaceman Spiff Posted April 29, 2003 Report Posted April 29, 2003 I would buy a pay-per-view for $34.95 featuring Raw® Superstars ONLY HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!!!
Guest Smell the ratings!!! Posted April 29, 2003 Report Posted April 29, 2003 All I can add here is I had a hell of a time fighting back the urge to vote that when I hear Live, I think "Smackdown". Damn near impossible.
Guest AndrewTS Posted April 29, 2003 Report Posted April 29, 2003 I told them I didn't want brand split PPVs, but I'd be more likely to buy PPVs if the price dropped. Plus, certain superstars being left off the PPV makes me not want to buy the PPVs. I don't buy PPVs as much because of the poorer quality (yeah, I just buy DVDs, but they didn't really give me the option to put that in. So what). Told them I don't care for hosses. I told them I don't want to see the "Legendary" superstars like Taker and HHH (BWAHAHAHAH!!). I don't want to see more "naughty and suggestive" content, "backstage drama." But I want more "in ring action." "Which brand do you associate with... "Clever stories?" Neither brand. "Stylized or Polished?" Neither brand. I want to say Raw is humorous, but not intentionally...
Guest jester Posted April 29, 2003 Report Posted April 29, 2003 "I would buy a pay-per-view for $34.95 featuring Raw® Superstars ONLY. I would also saw off my left testicle with a rusty hacksaw."
Guest Youth N Asia Posted April 29, 2003 Report Posted April 29, 2003 I hope everyone hammered home the point that $35 is way too damn much for a ppv these days.
Guest Youth N Asia Posted April 29, 2003 Report Posted April 29, 2003 Too bad there wasn't room for additional comments
Guest Downhome Posted April 29, 2003 Report Posted April 29, 2003 I filled it out, and I love this idea. My props go out to WWE, and they actually giving us, the fans, the option to speak on this somewhat.
