WWE censoring signs

Recommended Posts

I noticed that the "Goldberg Fears Jericho" sign got yanked pretty damn quickly.

Why the hell would they do that. If you have sign they should show it as it is. On the commercials they bring your attitiude and signs. Frik the attitude thing but all that guy was doing was bringing a sign. This buisness sux.

"Security took my better sign"

Best sign of Backlash. It was behind Cole and Tazz for a couple of seconds. I can't remember if they were hyping a match, talking about Rey etc:

The reason WWE takes signs like that away is the same reason why radio stations don't like you to do plugs on air. Not only because of money, but because you gotta wonder how much bad PR WWE would get if the WrestlingFigures.com guy went home that night and changed the site to a horse fucking an eight-year old girl with no legs. I work in PR, and that, combined with the fact that $200 for front row seats does not give you the right to advertise your site which others pay tens of thousands of dollars for, is why they won't let it stay up long.

I totally understand that and don't blame the WWE at all.

The guy in the front row with the Wrestlingfigures.com sign last night also had a sign that read, "QUEEF MORLEY". It was a lot of fun watching the camera switcher "duel" with that guy, trying to get him off camera. It was even more fun to see Val stare at the sign while he had Hurricane in a rear chinlock. That dude was more entertaining than the rest of the show.

It's a wonder no one has sued them yet for pulling shit like that. I mean, if fans can sue Creed(?) for putting on a bad show, why not WWE fans? For pete's sake, the WWE legal team NEVER wins, so it shouldn't be to hard ;)

The reason Creed has a pending suit against them is for putting on a show despite the fact that Stapp was so damn drunk he couldn't even get through a single song.

They should have just cancelled or rescheduled or something.

Does that potentially mean I could sue WWE everytime I paid to see a PPV or went to a live event where a superstar was intoxicated or under the influence of any other drug?

If they couldn't perform due to the drugs, I guess so.

But Jeff Hardy and Scott Hall are gone now.

Could this be because they don't want to give out free advertising? I know I'd be mighty pissed if I paid x number of dollars to advertise my product, while the competition gets it for free.

BTW, to talk about the T-shirt subject again, I just watched the NWO DVD put out last year, and a guy in the very front row of BAB 96 during the Hogan heel turn is wearing an ECW shirt. Although I think he showed off another ECW shirt like crazy during the match and security made him put it down.
