Guest j.o.b. squad Report post Posted April 29, 2003 Jeff Jarrett vs. Raven 4 Team Grudge Match: America's Most Wanted vs. The New Church vs. Saturn & Justin Credible vs. The Harris Bros. X Title Match: Kid Kash vs. Amazing Red X Division 4 Man Elimination Match all four of those matches look like they coude be good asuming the 4 man x devision match has some good wrestlers in it as they have yet to anounce who is in that. Also asuming the harises get eliminated early
Astro101 0 Report post Posted April 29, 2003 I read that Chris Sabin is on the show...looking forward to that. Borash stated in his preview that the 4 way X competitors will literally make the ring explode...don't think he knows what literally means.
Guest Raven_Effect01 Report post Posted April 30, 2003 Borash stated in his preview that the 4 way X competitors will literally make the ring explode...don't think he knows what literally means. Don't tell me they're having some lame exploding deathmatch... Kash vs. Red won't be all that great because they can't seem to gel well when they face each other, and I don't see how tomorrow night's match will be any different. Still, I wouldn't mind seeing Red as the new X-Division Champion if he can back it up with consistent performances.
Guest Galactic Gigolo Report post Posted April 30, 2003 Well, they previously fought each other as two faces with vaguely changing character qualities. Now that Kash is a heel, this could be a fun match.
Guest bps "The Truth" 21 Report post Posted April 30, 2003 Kash should have mad heat after last week. I'm glad to finally get the blowoff to that feud too.
Guest bps "The Truth" 21 Report post Posted April 30, 2003 I think we might have actually gotten the whole card this time: Jeff Jarrett vs. Raven Jerry Lynn vs. Christopher Daniels 4 Team Grudge Match: America's Most Wanted vs. The New Church vs. Saturn & Justin Credible vs. The Harris Bros. X Title Match: Kid Kash vs. Amazing Red X Division 4 Man Elimination Match (Jason Cross, Chris Sabin, Shark Boy and Jimmy Rave (I think this is a tremendous idea as someone is going to be made into a star for the X division) AJ Styles and D-Lo Brown vs. Sonny Siaki and David Young. Guest Zack Malibu Report post Posted April 30, 2003 I'm also calling for an appearance by Truth and/or Konnan during Lynn or Red's match, costing them victory. That way we see Konnan/Truth with their angle (I'm guessing a dual racism storyline) vs. Lynn and Red for the Tag Titles at some point.
Guest Space_Cowboy Report post Posted April 30, 2003 This looks to be a very strong card, nothing bad on it other than the Harris Brothers, but hopefully the other three teams get most of the action. Shame i can't order this one, with Raven/JJ, Lynn/Daniels, the X-Divsion 4 way and Title matches and the two tag matches it's hard to envision this show being anything but good. Guest Galactic Gigolo Report post Posted April 30, 2003 I really hope Jimmy Rave comes out lookiing his best in this match. In his CZW and Wildside stuff, he always wears a shirt, and it makes him look a lot better. In TNA, though, he wears no shirt and he just looks pasty white with an undefined stomach that just makes him look like shit.
Guest bps "The Truth" 21 Report post Posted April 30, 2003 Here is my preview
Guest DRAWMUH! Report post Posted April 30, 2003 If it gets down to Rave and Cross expect this match to be even better since these two know eachother just as well as AJ knows these two. Chris Sabin in the few matches I've seen with him he's been pretty good. Shark Boy looks like he'll be the first one eliminated. I expect this match to be the dark horse. Daniels/Lynn, if given enough time, will be a contender for the MOTN for SURE. Jarrett/Raven will be the one everyone wants to see and will have to be pretty good since this PPV will probably have the biggest buyrate for them. Kash/Red will be spotactular with heat. It'll be a fun match. HOPEFULLY Kash/Red or the 4 way X match opens the show and NOT The 4 ay tag match. I believe the entire locker room will "bring it" to the PPV tonight but Lets just hope this match goes pretty fast and doesn't last too long. Styles/Dlo vs. Young/Siaki will be another fun match but not a MOTN contender. Hmmmm....who else on the roster besides truth/konnan aren't in matches yet? Guest Coffey Report post Posted April 30, 2003 Jeff Jarrett vs. Wow. Just, wow. Jeff Jarrett Vs. Raven was my selling point for this week's show about three weeks ago. Lynn Vs. Daniels should be fantastic. The X-Division 4-way will be good. The Styles/D-Lo tag could be good. The whole listing looks entertaining. The people in NWA know that this will be their biggest show to date, so I expect them all to be busting their asses harder than they usually do tonight. A lot of people like Sonny Siaki & that Sabin dude will be able to prove themselves tonight in front of a larger fanbase than normal. You have to expect this show to do the best so far. I mean, with all the buildup for the main, it only makes sense. We'll see...
Guest bps "The Truth" 21 Report post Posted April 30, 2003 Oh there will be effort tonight from everyone. I can just feel it. This is the most anticipated week of TNA for me personally, ever. I can't wait.
Guest RedJed Report post Posted April 30, 2003 Thats a DAMN solid lineup, period. I'm trying not to get huge expectations here but its hard! Lynn v. Daniels is a match I've wanted to see for awhile on TNA, and I'm looking forward to Kash v. Red a TON.
Guest Phoenix Fury Legdrop Report post Posted April 30, 2003 As long as they keep Shark Boy's spots to a minimum, and they don't make Jimmy do a bunch of spots without rhyme or reason, the X 4-Way should be great.
Astro101 0 Report post Posted April 30, 2003 Sounds great tonight. Good to see they're not just dependent on one match. I've read that there's gonna be a huge surprise tonight...who could it be? I will do a backflip if Mick Foley shows up. And I don't know how!
Guest EN090 Report post Posted April 30, 2003 This is just amazing how TNA has gotten us to care more about Jarrett vs. Raven than some dream matches WWE has put out like Rock vs. Hogan, Goldberg vs. Rock, Austin vs. Flair, etc. Raven vs. Jarrett is feud/storyline of the year so far, IMO, and I cannot wait to see where it goes tonight. The match should be tremendous.
Guest Matt Young Report post Posted April 30, 2003 Due to never having cash, I have only ordered one TNA PPV. I've seen a couple early ones through internet download, however. I've been following the shows via Dames' Diatribes every week, and I was already planning on ordering this show Thursday (won't be home tonight) to see 2 of my favorite wrestlers fight for the World Title, but with Lynn vs. Daniels, the 2 4-way matches, and the X title match... this show should be excellent all the way through. *drools*
