Why do some posts not show up until

Sometimes I'll see that someone has posted in a topic, but I can't find their post anywhere, but when someone posts again their post finally shows up.

 

Why is that?

This problem pops up every once in a while--it's a bug with Invision Board that hopefully will get fixed sometime. It usually only happens in really long threads. Where did you see it happen? The Buffy thread?

I've seen it once or twice, and I was pretty sure it was in the Buffy thread
