MuchMusic USA changing name too..

Well I was watching MM USA, and they had a promo when they said that they are changing their name to fuse.

 

Just thought that everyone who cared would see that.

The Canadian version shows alot about Canadian bands, but besides that it's basically the same shit. The American Muchmusic is even more like MTV.

 

However, muchmusic does play all music, so that's one big postive compared to MTV.

MTV wouldn't have such a big audience if it just showed videos, I wouldn't watch it as much.

 

One of the big things about MTV that I like are their TV shows. Yes, they are pointless reality crap shows, but I have to watch some stuff that doesn't make me think at all.

in terms of music, MMUSA is only slightly more bareable than MTV. MTVs tv shows make up for it though. In all of this reality tv show craze, MTV producers are still IMO the only ones that know how to capture the true spirit of them.

Much Music USA is just the same crap that MTV plays. It was bearable when they were mostly simulcasting the canadian version, but since they've been showing more original content for the USA feed it's just an MTV clone.

 

Fuse is a horrible name. Saying it's better than Spike TV is like saying that a cold is better than a fever. Either way your still sick.

Muchmusic tries to appeal to everyone but most of the time, it's pop music. They do have awesome shows such as Loud and The Punk Show though and the Personalities actually have personality.

MMUSA was sucking hard the last time I saw it anyway. I hated the fact that MMUSA basically replaced the regular Canadian Much Music in my Digital package.

 

True, Much isn't that much better, but at least it had Loud.

Much Loud and Much Vibe have had their own entire stations on Canadian digital cable since last year, for those who didn't know.
