Okay, so she is cute and all, but compared to Trista, she is not in the least bit charming. And the show is supposed to be about "personality", but I have found it to be anything but.

Guest areacode212 Posted April 30, 2003 Report Posted April 30, 2003 I'm not a big reality TV watcher, but I caught the last 20 minutes of the first episode, out of curiosity to see Monica. Eh, it was mildly entertaining, but didn't make me want to watch the remaining episodes. And what was up with those (losing) guys at the end prattling on and on about this being such a fairy tale and how the entire experience was a wonderful opportunity? Opportunity for what? To dress up in a luchadore mask and try to hit on some chick? Hell, even I could do that. I wish they'd give Monica more to do than just play host, though.

Actually, they creep the living hell out of me to tell you the truth. And I'm tired of all these reality shows coming back with any variation on the hackneyed, done-to-death "Someone gets married to someone they don't know at all for $$$" because I don't see how they keep getting the ratings when everyone knows that marriage/engagement stip means jack and shit. That and reality shows just suck.
