The Hollywood Reporter says that Dimension Films has tapped David Boreanaz, Dennis Hopper and Tara Reid to join Edward Furlong in the fourth "The Crow" film Wicked Prayer, produced by Edward R. Pressman and Jeff Most. Lance Mungia (Six-String Samurai) is directing the project, which goes into production in June.

Set in the Southwest, "Prayer" tells the story of ex-con Jimmy Cuervo (Furlong) and his girlfriend, Lily (Chriqui), who are murdered by Luc Crash (Boreanaz) and his satanic gang Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse as part of a ritual for Crash to become an immortal demon. The rest of the gang is played by Chong, Ortiz and Reid, with Reid playing Crash's evil love interest. Hopper plays El Nino who marries Crash and Lola.

Emmanuelle Chriqui, Danny Trejo, Marcus Chong and Tito Ortiz round out the cast.

Okay, now the cast(Except for Tito Ortiz, why the hell is he making movies ? He should use that time to fight The Iceman) AND the premise look decent.

BUT...why? The first one became a cult classic, the 2nd BOMBED, the 3rd sucked and went direct - to - video!

Why continue ?

David's cool and I like Emmanuelle Chriqui. But they've pissed on the first one so much with more Crow movies...just let it go

Hey if it kills Furlong...I am all for it...

How did we go from Brandon Lee to Edward Furlong?

Furlong is okay.

I just hate to see them further piss on the Crow legacy though. I don't even acknowledge these new ones.

I'll see it just because David will play a heel, and he is always better that way.

Yeah, but unfortunately I doubt he'll be able to be subtle heel like Angelus. By that I mean that he'll be an over the top, cackle and kill type. No tact, no insidiousness (a la Angelus) just a paint by numbers bad guy. I do like the cast (Tara Reid and Chirqui = yummy, while Trejo and Ortiz (WTF??) provide the ass kicking goodness), but the last 2 Crow movies don't leave me much hope for this one.

I've changed my mind, they've pissed on the first one so bad now that I don't care...make 10 more.
