Guest Mik at Cornell Report post Posted April 30, 2003 Absolutely love them. I was very anti- Harry Potter but my roommate in Melbourne had the first one. I ended up reading Philosphers Stone and then went through the rest of the set in about a week and a half. Couldn't put them down. Now I absolutely can't wait until Order of the Phoenix on 6/23. HP and GOF was the best in the series, IMO, with the tri-wizard tournament and the very dark (and not child-like at all) ending. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

Word Life! I might do that, but to be honest it's not high on my list of things to read (I've got a backlog of about 4 books right now), based on my seeing the first 2 movies. Martin I like Terry Brooks, and Salvatore to a lesser extent. And after watching LotR, I'm gonna have to get around to reading the books, although I have read the Hobbit.
