Guest SweetNSexyDiva Report post Posted May 2, 2003 I like them with veggie cream cheese. And I only like them if they are toasted. My favorite thus far is the everything bagel, however, I don't enjoy the garlic or onion breath they can sometimes give.... I noticed a lot of people do not like the blueberry ones. I always get complaints when I buy that kind for meetings. What do you think?
Guest SweetNSexyDiva Report post Posted May 2, 2003 Also, they make fabulous cucumber sandwiches... if you ever want to try... thinly sliced cucs cream cheese sunflower seeds thinly sliced red onion a little salt (or use slated sunflower seeds) I love 'em. However the sandwiches taste best on a toasted english muffin.

Guest areacode212 Report post Posted May 3, 2003 I noticed a lot of people do not like the blueberry ones. I always get complaints when I buy that kind for meetings. What do you think? I think your co-workers are a bunch of suckas. Blueberry bagels are quite awesome when they're toasted and eaten with butter. Or even better, with fruit-flavored cream cheese. That is like a delicacy (and overpriced when you order them like that at a deli here). I generally don't like bagels too much when they're not toasted. But when they are, and the guy behind the counter spreads lots of butter or cream cheese on them, they are so filling and good. A toasted bagel with butter is less than $1.00, so if you don't have time to cook something, it's a cheap & filling breakfast.

Best...Sandwich...Ever Oh, absolutely. When it comes to making virtually anything but PB&J sandwiches, bagels have easily replaced bread. Just toast the bagel a bit to get it nice and firm (and warm!), then slap on whatever sandwich content you wish. They're great for making breakfast sandwiches too. Mmmm....I think I'll have me a bacon, egg & cheese bagel tomorrow.
