Guest SweetNSexyDiva Posted May 2, 2003 Report Posted May 2, 2003 I like them with veggie cream cheese. And I only like them if they are toasted. My favorite thus far is the everything bagel, however, I don't enjoy the garlic or onion breath they can sometimes give.... I noticed a lot of people do not like the blueberry ones. I always get complaints when I buy that kind for meetings. What do you think?
Guest SweetNSexyDiva Posted May 2, 2003 Report Posted May 2, 2003 Also, they make fabulous cucumber sandwiches... if you ever want to try... thinly sliced cucs cream cheese sunflower seeds thinly sliced red onion a little salt (or use slated sunflower seeds) I love 'em. However the sandwiches taste best on a toasted english muffin.
Guest Eagan469 Posted May 2, 2003 Report Posted May 2, 2003 Try cutting an onion bagel in half, putting ham and sharp chedder cheese on it, and nuking it in the microwave for 20 seconds. Best...Sandwich...Ever
Guest Sandman9000 Posted May 3, 2003 Report Posted May 3, 2003 I eat poppy seed ones before taking drug tests. And other times, as well. They're good, I like them...
Guest stardust Posted May 3, 2003 Report Posted May 3, 2003 I actually like cranberry/orange bagels, and apple cinnamon bagels. I also like plain bagels with strawberry cream cheese.
Guest kkktookmybabyaway Posted May 3, 2003 Report Posted May 3, 2003 I eat so many bagels I gotta have a Jew somewhere in my family tree...
Guest areacode212 Posted May 3, 2003 Report Posted May 3, 2003 I noticed a lot of people do not like the blueberry ones. I always get complaints when I buy that kind for meetings. What do you think? I think your co-workers are a bunch of suckas. Blueberry bagels are quite awesome when they're toasted and eaten with butter. Or even better, with fruit-flavored cream cheese. That is like a delicacy (and overpriced when you order them like that at a deli here). I generally don't like bagels too much when they're not toasted. But when they are, and the guy behind the counter spreads lots of butter or cream cheese on them, they are so filling and good. A toasted bagel with butter is less than $1.00, so if you don't have time to cook something, it's a cheap & filling breakfast.
Guest "LukeWarm" Posted May 3, 2003 Report Posted May 3, 2003 I used to eat them but then the incident happened.
Guest ISportsFan Posted May 4, 2003 Report Posted May 4, 2003 I like them with turkey Oh man, the bagel turkey sandwich is my favorite deli sandwich ever. Jason
Guest SweetNSexyDiva Posted May 5, 2003 Report Posted May 5, 2003 I used to eat them but then the incident happened. Incident?
Guest starvenger Posted May 5, 2003 Report Posted May 5, 2003 I eat bagels on occasion - everything and garlic with butter or margarine are my favs. But... is anyone shocked at the shitload of calories that are in ONE bagel?
Guest Agent of Oblivion Posted May 5, 2003 Report Posted May 5, 2003 Bagels own. Either the Egg or Onion kind, with cream cheese or butter and jam.
HurriShane Posted May 7, 2003 Report Posted May 7, 2003 I'm Jewish so it's like a law that I have to eat them.
Guest Vyce Posted May 7, 2003 Report Posted May 7, 2003 Try cutting an onion bagel in half, putting ham and sharp chedder cheese on it, and nuking it in the microwave for 20 seconds. Best...Sandwich...Ever Oh, absolutely. When it comes to making virtually anything but PB&J sandwiches, bagels have easily replaced bread. Just toast the bagel a bit to get it nice and firm (and warm!), then slap on whatever sandwich content you wish. They're great for making breakfast sandwiches too. Mmmm....I think I'll have me a bacon, egg & cheese bagel tomorrow.
Guest NaturalBornThriller4:20 Posted May 9, 2003 Report Posted May 9, 2003 Toasted Cinnamon Raisin Bagel with Butter and Jelly...
