OK...so we know that Hogan, Hall & Nash are coming back.

And that they will be wrestling at WrestleMania in some fashion.

What do you want to see them doing?

6 man tag.

3 singles matches.

Hogan in a singles match, outsiders in a tag match?

What is the best way to swallow the bitter pill?

I see them in a 6 man match. It's the nWo vs. The Rock, SCSA & Ric Flair.

-edit-

forgot flair

hogan v flair

outsiders v austin and rock

wouldn't it be beautiful if the nWo screwed WM, making it an nWo night?

that would be a fine way to estabilish their rebel attitudes. imagine the lil' marks at home crying as they see the show they've waited for months getting destroyed by the nWo.

Imagine the buyrate for the next ppv and the ratings for the tv shows...

Is this Eric Bischoff?

Imagine if Vince gets Bischoff under WWF contract. That's not a pretty sight is it?

At this point, I'm more worried about Vince getting Maurizio C... Version 2 under contract.

I don't know if the nWo should wrestle at WrestleMania.  Sure, they should disturb some shit somewhere ... maybe beat Flair up backstage, take over a production truck, knock J.R. senseless and take over the announcing booth; but I'm not confident in the nWo's ability to get over if we have to, y'know, watch them wrestle.  The nWo is being sold as a "cancer", but why?  Because those three guys have a different definition of "win" than everyone else.  They win when they get their way, and everyone else wins when they pin their opponent.  See?

And they should IN NO WAY be let near the main event.  HHH and Jericho should be able to build plenty of backstory - and unless Jericho's going over (and I don't think it's good business for him to go over), HHH should pin him cleanly WITHOUT INTERFERENCE ON HIS BEHALF.  If it's me booking, and it's not, the next two months are going to be filled with Chris Jericho CHEATING TO WIN, beating Triple H at every opportunity.  That, of course, includes the Stephanie turn, and all that good stuff.

ok, follow me... in WCW the nWo was the rebel organization... but they had no problem getting matches... that would be like saying "let's get Jeffrey Dhamer to kill someone on live TV"... now, the nWo will be funded by Vince, and that's a smart twist to the angle... but if they're real reberls they should set on doing something hellish... like beating up Freddie Blassie, gang raping Steph or mutilating Mae Young on SD!...

Isn't the WWF promoting WrestleMania saying it's Hogan first match in a WWF ring in over 7 years? If that's so then he'll be wrestling.

watching hogan wrestle again, uh... menace or promise?

I wasn't aware Hogan ever WRESTLED in the first place...

...get it?

to get a significant match out of Terry there must be solid build up and I don't see it in just a few weeks before the ppv. maybe they'll pair him with 'taker in an afterthought of a bout...

Taker vs. Hogan?

2002 style?

That could set a whole new level of suck.

hey, maybe taker will botch his powerbomb and take hogan out for good!

i get the feeling theyre gonna be majorly disruptive, running into matches and backstage beatings / hijinks, taking over feeds and such

the nwo is interfering in austin/jericho main event, with jericho winning

stephanie will interfere in the wrestlemania event

the nwo doesn care about belts, they are there to destroy the company

this difference in motivation could be interesting

i read something about a "lockdown" scenario a long time ago, this could be it

Hopefully we don't see the FINGERPOKE OF DOOM make it's WWF debut. To get a good match out of Hogan, or at least get him to use his working boots...spin him around a few times backstage and tell him he's wrestling in Japan. Hogan seems to try harder if he's in Japan.

oh yeah, I remember that old "limousine" paragon btween the wwf and iwgp titles he did in '93.

I would like to see the following matches take place:

Hogan vs. Rock

Nash vs. Undertaker

Hall vs. Michaels (1 night only)

If they wanted to get the UT involved...all they have to do is have him lose to Nash (a job that should be returned anyway) at Mania with Hall or Hogan interfering.

Marks like Taker (even as a heel).  Marks like that Taker is undefeated at Mania.  If the Nwo costs him that...he'll get some good pops when he comes after them in a feud.

My picks:

Rock & Austin vs. Outsiders

Flair vs. Hogan (although I always hate seeing Flair job to Hogan)

I say WrestleMania will have either a double main event or a triple main event.

Double Main Event

HHH vs. Chris Jericho - WWF Title

SCSA, The Rock & Ric Flair vs. the nWo

Triple Main Event

HHH vs. Chris Jericho - WWF Title

The Outsiders vs. SCSA & The Rock

Ric Flair vs. "Hollywood" Hogan (We know who'll do the job in that one)
