Guest Dmann2000 Posted May 4, 2003 Report Posted May 4, 2003 What was up with Bret's hair in that clip, must've been before he discovered the joys of gel. You never seen anything of Bret Hart from the early/mid-80's? Nope, I didn't start actively watching till 89
Guest BoboBrazil Posted May 4, 2003 Report Posted May 4, 2003 WWE so totally stole that one on one segment idea from TNA. TNA calls it "The Interrogation"
Guest Eagan469 Posted May 4, 2003 Report Posted May 4, 2003 whoa - Jesse doing Jericho's thing 20 years before the fact
Guest MillenniumMan831 Posted May 4, 2003 Report Posted May 4, 2003 LOL at Gorilla no-selling Jesse's promo towards the end of the segment.
Guest BoboBrazil Posted May 4, 2003 Report Posted May 4, 2003 It is going to be great when Kurt Angle comes back bragging that coming back from neck surgery only took him 2 months and it took everyone else a year.
Guest Eagan469 Posted May 4, 2003 Report Posted May 4, 2003 WWE so totally stole that one on one segment idea from TNA. TNA calls it "The Interrogation" ...and TNA then stole it from Nickelodeon GAS's "Five Questions" seriously, that type of interview is nothing that hasn't been done a billion times

Guest bravesfan Posted May 4, 2003 Report Posted May 4, 2003 OT: Hey Eagan, do you know of any good wrestling theme sites? (since cyclone2k has removed all of their material). I'm currently looking for Lex Luger's WCW theme from the 1999-2000 period. You probably remember it; it was that cool music he used for his in-ring posedown before all of his matches.

Guest Stunt Granny Posted May 4, 2003 Report Posted May 4, 2003 Man it's too bad The Body had to retire before doing shit with Hogan. The matches wouldn't be **** but they'd be fun as hell.
Guest Downhome Posted May 4, 2003 Report Posted May 4, 2003 I wonder how many people watching this match just don't "get it". *Sigh*
Guest Will Scarlet Posted May 4, 2003 Report Posted May 4, 2003 I am loving Pat Patterson on commentary. It's also nice to see a match that actually has heat. You just do not see that a lot with the WWE these days.
Guest MillenniumMan831 Posted May 4, 2003 Report Posted May 4, 2003 There's a hilarious match he had with Tony Garea from MSG on Best of WWF Volume 19. It's a DUD if a smark ever saw one, but the psychology of the kidney punch was fabulous. Ventira hit a few kidney punches behind the refs back in which Ventura claims was an open palm. Garea disagrees. So Ventura calls the ref over, and gives Garea an open thrust to the kidney which the ref sees and Garea semi-sells. However, when the ref tells him that it was an open hand, Garea shouts back, "I know that was!" Obviously later on Garea returned the favor but was pinned with a Ventura elbow drop.
Guest Stunt Granny Posted May 4, 2003 Report Posted May 4, 2003 It's from '81. 7 years before he was Perfect.
Guest MillenniumMan831 Posted May 4, 2003 Report Posted May 4, 2003 How many years is this Pre perfect? Seven. Pissed that I didn't tape Snuka/Backlund (waits for rerun) Pumped I'm taping this over a part of Raw X Anniversary.
Guest Slapnuts00 Posted May 4, 2003 Report Posted May 4, 2003 Seriously, how many of you would rather them just cancel RAW and play old footage like this instead. MAKE THE WRESTLING TV CHANNEL NOW!
Guest Trivia247 Posted May 4, 2003 Report Posted May 4, 2003 Canadian Backbreaker!!! Classic can't get that on SD4
Guest Downhome Posted May 4, 2003 Report Posted May 4, 2003 Ventura is SO coming back, you just wait and see.

Guest MillenniumMan831 Posted May 4, 2003 Report Posted May 4, 2003 the Bottom Line is NEXT! the what? Syndicated Raw recap show. ah, I see that replaced Shotgun, right? Yup, hosted by Marc Loyd in a dumbed-down (if that's possible) version of the ol' Excess set w/o the podium.
