Guest raptor Report post Posted May 4, 2003 Agreed. I just might have to pick one of those up.
Guest HartFan86 Report post Posted May 4, 2003 These are the type of shirts I like for a few reasons: 1. Plain and simple...colors are fine, and the text is good. 2. I'd easily wear this out in public and not be embarassed. 3. It's not over done with stupid sayings and pictures. Like I said, plain and simple.
Guest bravesfan Report post Posted May 4, 2003 Jeff Hardy's items are still listed? Well, at least they'll make money off of him, even without his presence on the roster.
Guest Downhome Report post Posted May 4, 2003 This shall be mine, I've always wanted a Piper shirt! I wish it said "Hot Rod" on it though, heh. I wish it was... ...this shirt... ...personally, but I'll still pick this one up.
Guest Jobber of the Week Report post Posted May 4, 2003 Hell yes! Although it was weird seeing him on SmackDown wearing that "FRATS!" shirt he'd flaunt off while listing off a bunch of dead guys and blaming Vince for killing em, etc. Usually he'd take off that shirt and accompany it with a venom-filled crapfest about how he hates Vince/WWE/Russo/Whatever
Guest RavishingRickRudo Report post Posted May 4, 2003 Taker's "pain sin-dicate" shirt is almost presentable.
Guest Jobber of the Week Report post Posted May 4, 2003 I don't think presentability is a problem. These shirts actually look better on a person than they do sitting by themselves on the screen. The problem is your own self-image in your head. It was raining yesterday, so I walked to the store and shopped in my WM19 hooded sweats. Not even a comment or reaction from anyone. Hell, I also have the Double Redneck Bonus shirt: An NHRA WWF Racing tee.
Guest RavishingRickRudo Report post Posted May 4, 2003 The problem is with the stigma wrestling fans get as being white-trash, inbred, hillbillies... and the fact that 99% of the WWE shirts are corny.
Guest Jobber of the Week Report post Posted May 4, 2003 My take on it is that the rest of my shirt collection isn't much better: I got a bunch of shirts advertising Las Vegas Hotels I stayed at or liked. I got a bunch of Disneyland shirts. I got a couple of unimpressive plain shirts I wear whenever I go to something important. Since most of my t shirts are billboards anyway, I might as well be a wrestling billboard. I intentionally stay away from shirts boasting slogans like "take another step and I'll kick your teeth in" or whatever, but a plain ol non-confrontational wrestling shirt isn't a problem to me. Guest RavishingRickRudo Report post Posted May 4, 2003 I know what you mean - I've got a ton of COW shirts (COWS being an ice cream shop.) I wear em for different reasons 1)Comfortable, 2)They are intentionally corny, 3)Some are Brilliant, 4)R'presentin PEI. I guess since I don't want to promote something that I don't like (WWE) we differ in this But when I was a WWE fan I would have purchased the Kaientai shirt had they actually sold it at their shows. My Take: 5) Make better T-shirts. This may seem like a little thing, but I believe it's very important. When wrestling was at its hottest you had people wearing 3:16 and NWO shirts. It was cool and they were proud. Now you might find one behind a jacket - and even THAT's rare. Fans want to subtly show they are wrestling fans - and they cannot do that while earing 'It's true' in big bold lettering. There have only been a handful of really good shirts in the past: the Hurricane 'H' and the Kaientai "Evil" shirts are the only ones that I can think of that I ever really showed interest in. What did they have in common? They were transferable to everyday wear. It didn't say you were a wrestling fan, but you still knew you were representin' and other wrestling fans would give you a nod on the street. "Less is More' and Obscurity is the key. Guest CanadianChick Report post Posted May 4, 2003 I have Angle, Jericho, Lita and HHH bobbleheads sitting on my bathroom countertop alongside a WCW Booker T figure. Doesn't this look like Jericho back in the day and not Jericho right now?

Guest MaxPower27 Report post Posted May 4, 2003 I have Angle, Jericho, Lita and HHH bobbleheads sitting on my bathroom countertop alongside a WCW Booker T figure. Doesn't this look like Jericho back in the day and not Jericho right now? I know. I wish I could update him somehow. I painted the hair of two of my Jericho action figures red, to match his little "end of the hair is red" thing. Now of course, it's obsolete.
Guest AndrewTS Report post Posted May 4, 2003 The HHH bobblehead looks more like HBK than HHH, and I can't think of anyone that it actually looks like. F*** Goldberg, and his lousy t-shirt, too.
