Guest Slapnuts00 Posted May 4, 2003 Report Posted May 4, 2003 I know its Bob's thing to start the weekly SNL thread but I've been watching for over an hour now and I couldn't wait, so hopefully he won't mind my review first: IT SUCKS Seriously this is the most aweful show I've ever seen them put on...That is all.

My review will be up a little later then usual as I also have to write my trip report to SNL. I waited 23 hours to see the show!

We had one of the best Jarrett's Room in a long time. A great monologue. A pretty good Madonna interview with Seth doing a great Lauer ad as usual stealing the skit. And there was the clasroom skit that was one of those skits that made me realise why I love Seth Meyers. I'll put most of my thoughts in my review- I've gotten about 10 minutes of sleep since Friday morning so it may take a while

The monologue was stupid. The joke was ok to begin with but it went on and on and on and on. The Jarrat's Room was extrmemly stupid and juvenille (this coming from an 18 year old) that I didnt find funny at all. The class room sketch wasnt that great, the joke was way too obvious. The whole show was just terrible and wouldn't end. Plus they had a horrible rapper who I couldn't understand on music. Horrible show I didn't like one sketch. But as I said everyone's allowed their opinions. So in closing: FIRE WILL FORTE!!!!!! I HATE HIS ASS! !!!! YOUR NOT FUNNY YOU STUPID FUCK!!!!!!!! They actually jazzed up the Falconer this time and even I, self professed Falconer hater, didn't think it was that bad. It also segued into another funny skit so I have no problem with it. Jarrett's Room is always stupid and juvenile. This one had the usual Seth greatness and a hilarious 9.11 joke. The classroom skit was predictable but Seth made it work. Despite some crappy skit choices I enjoyed the show for the most part even though 50 Cent was BAD.
