Guest Choken One Posted May 4, 2003 Report Posted May 4, 2003 We all will die. So at your Funeral or cremation or whatever it is you do to honor the deceased... What song do you wish to have Played in your memory? Me? I doubt I would go with something Like Tears in Heaven because I would'nt want to have my family die... I'd like something that summed up my life and my feelings...
TheOriginalOrangeGoblin Posted May 4, 2003 Report Posted May 4, 2003 Damn Choke you're really into the depressing shit aint ya? "It's So Hard to Say Goodbye" by Boyz II Men or for the hell of it "I'll Be Missing You" by Puff Daddy & Faith Evans "Tears in Heaven" and "The Living Years" by Mike & The Mechanics wouldn't be bad either.
Guest Choken One Posted May 4, 2003 Report Posted May 4, 2003 I HAVE been in a Depression Funk lately... I like the I'll be missing you... If My Father had his way...It'd be "Turn the Page" since it's his one and ONLY song he'll listen to...
Guest El Satanico Posted May 4, 2003 Report Posted May 4, 2003 Highway to Hell Oh and I'd want kegs and/or an open bar for my funeral patrons.
Guest FeArHaVoC Posted May 4, 2003 Report Posted May 4, 2003 I want an old school, New Orleans Jazz Funeral. Basically a band plays Jazz music during the funeral while people do their thing and pay their respects.

TheOriginalOrangeGoblin Posted May 4, 2003 Report Posted May 4, 2003 "Cloud #9" by Bryan Adams is a nice to leave this planet don't why but I'd like it. Oh and like has been mentioned more times in the past two days than in the past 6 years, "Tell Me a Lie" is really sad and depressing.
Guest WrestlingDeacon Posted May 4, 2003 Report Posted May 4, 2003 Traditional gospel as sung by Elvis Presley. Most likely I'd go with "Milky White Way" and "Peace in the Valley." I've contemplated the New Orleans style funeral myself. Let death be a celebration of life. I'm also being cremated and having my ashes forwarded to Edwin MacPhisto.
Guest El Satanico Posted May 4, 2003 Report Posted May 4, 2003 Another song I've always said I'd have played is "Angel" by Jimi Hendrix
Guest FeArHaVoC Posted May 4, 2003 Report Posted May 4, 2003 Oh, I want to be Cremated too. Then spread my ashes on the beach. That way, even after I'm dead, I'll still be able to get into girls pants.
Guest IDrinkRatsMilk Posted May 4, 2003 Report Posted May 4, 2003 I don't care at all about what happens to my remains after I'm dead, so I'll just leave the music up to my loved ones. If I had to chose, I'd try to go with something totally innapropriate, just to give everybody one last laugh before I'm out... "Back That Ass Up" maybe.
Guest saturnmark4life Posted May 4, 2003 Report Posted May 4, 2003 Yeah, I want everyone to get wasted at mine, and listen to the butthole surfers.
Guest CoreyLazarus416 Posted May 4, 2003 Report Posted May 4, 2003 Many songs by Slayer, Metallica, The Misfits, Motörhead, and Shadows Fall.
Guest The Amazing Rando Posted May 4, 2003 Report Posted May 4, 2003 when I die... I want a desire video.... and I damn sure would love to have "Tell Me A Lie" play
Guest JHawk Posted May 4, 2003 Report Posted May 4, 2003 "My Way" by Frank Sinatra. The lyrics say it all, ya know?
Guest The Hamburglar Posted May 4, 2003 Report Posted May 4, 2003 The Imperial March from Star Wars. And I'm going to have a fuck off great big tomb with marble colums and gargoyles and everything. And I'm going to be in a sarcophagus with my own effigy on the front, leering lecherously at anyone who dares enter. All those who trespass shall be cursed with Wanker's Claw.
Guest Walter Sobzak Posted May 4, 2003 Report Posted May 4, 2003 The song Dennis Leary sings at the end of his show. "EVERYTHING IS HORRIBLE WHOA-HO!!"
Guest SP-1 Posted May 4, 2003 Report Posted May 4, 2003 "The Warmth" by Incubus. As a parting "message" to those around me to not let things get them down, and to remember who they are and to make the most of their life.
Guest Choken One Posted May 4, 2003 Report Posted May 4, 2003 I want someone to pull an Andy Kaufman at a Funeral... Ima going to go ahead and PRE-RECORD my funeral with a song and dance...
Guest El Satanico Posted May 4, 2003 Report Posted May 4, 2003 Ima going to go ahead and PRE-RECORD my funeral with a song and dance... bitch please :holds up tape: My video is already done
Guest godthedog Posted May 4, 2003 Report Posted May 4, 2003 ever since i was 13, i've wanted my departing song to be "push th' littl' daisies," by ween. i've gotten through many a day picturing the horrified look on my parents' faces, and my best friend trying not to laugh. and i want my epitaph to be the monologue from the dead parrot sketch.
Guest Narcoleptic Jumper Posted May 4, 2003 Report Posted May 4, 2003 I want the song "Necropedophile" by Cannibal Corpse to be playing at my funeral.
Guest Edwin MacPhisto Posted May 4, 2003 Report Posted May 4, 2003 I'm also being cremated and having my ashes forwarded to Edwin MacPhisto. And I intend to sculpt those ashes into a statue of George Clinton, have it bronzed, and place it on my own headstone while "Tear The Roof Off" bumps. It's then up to whoever steals the statue first to keep the funk alive.
