Ok, theirs crap, and then theris SHIT. Atleast some crappy gimmicks were fun or interesting to me. (papa shango, ludvig borga, doink were all acceptable) Nut Vince was too into cartoon characters and came up with The Berzerker (WITH A #### Z) and put Mr. Fuji with him, cause, you know,Fuji managed al lthe freaks and foreign no talents. Zerkman was a man named John Nord, who wrestled as The Viking for a few weeks before thisgimmick was set up. Since hes a Viking, where else to bill him from the Iceland? although Vikings have ben non existent for about 2000 years. The only english(?) he spoke was Huss Huss" whatever the #### that meant. Even Heenan had no idea what it was. His only claim to fame was......well um, getting his ass whooped by Undertaker and then trying to stab him with his sword. Lets not forget Duggan whoopin him at Survivor Series 1991.

 

Back to him and Undertaker. How stupid was the man who decided to do this was he? The man tries to STAB a guy with a giant sword on TV before the Attiude era with little kids watching this. Now thats why we have crime in our society. Idiots like Vince O' Mac.

 

Berzerker wa slast seen i think at was around Winter or Spring of 1993. LAst time i saw him was at Royal Rumble 1993. Along with favoritesa like Max Moon, the ugly Chink, the "30 foot" monster, Typhoon, and a host of other shit makingither their first or last appearences.

 

Thank god Wrestlemania VIII didnt feature Berzerker vs. British Bulldog. It would be a replay of Warlord vs. British Bulldog from the 139 matches they had in 1991.

It was not actually the word "Huss" like a lot of people believe. It was actually "Ice". If you recall he would grasp his hand out in front of him while saying this.

 

"Ice, Ice, Ice!"

 

He would say while holding his hand outwards. The idea was that he was hoping the fans would give him ice from their empty pop cups. Him being from Iceland and all this would make him feel more at home.

 

Sadly, it never caught on.

not to be mr. geography but Iceland is a Green country with very little "ice". Greenland on the other hand is VERY cold and contains mounds of ice and snow. Maybe they should trad enames.

John Nord was going around the country more or less emulating Bruiser Brody as a tribute to a man I believe he tagged up with on occasion and I think the Huss Huss part was part of that.
