Guest Lightning Flik Posted May 10, 2003 Report Posted May 10, 2003 Yeah but will Caboose acknowledge the POWER OF THE POET~? Power of what? A poet, you SP? You may be named Poet, but you sure ain't have the soul or charisma to be a true poet.
Guest SP-1 Posted May 10, 2003 Report Posted May 10, 2003 Trust me, mang, this place is far from my natural writing habitat or personality.
Guest Lightning Flik Posted May 10, 2003 Report Posted May 10, 2003 Trust me, mang, this place is far from my natural writing habitat or personality. Mang? What the hell is that??? But seriously, I doubt that any person really writes true to their style in an e-fed.
Guest SP-1 Posted May 10, 2003 Report Posted May 10, 2003 I've contemplated getting all philosophical and artsy here but I'd rather be a heelish bastard and hit people with chairs.
Guest The Amazing Rando Posted May 10, 2003 Report Posted May 10, 2003 My personality is pretty much that of a charismatic ego-driven nutcase that would very well cater to the Power of the Poet~! if my local Giant Eagle did not think I was crazy when I ask which shelf it is on...
Guest Zack Malibu Posted May 10, 2003 Report Posted May 10, 2003 *ahem* The Power of the Prep overrules any Poetic Powers spoken of.
Guest ShooterJay Posted May 10, 2003 Report Posted May 10, 2003 I'd say I write really true to my style, just with the goofiness toned down and the INTENSITY~! ramped way up.
Guest caboose Posted May 10, 2003 Report Posted May 10, 2003 Power Of The Prep? Poet Power~! What the fuck? I just kick ass.
Guest SP-1 Posted May 10, 2003 Report Posted May 10, 2003 Power . . . of . . . . the . . . Prep? Prep? *goes into high school geek mode* Now you die.
Guest Kingpk Posted May 10, 2003 Report Posted May 10, 2003 *ahem* The Power of the Prep overrules any Poetic Powers spoken of. Ah, but the Power of the Prep and the Power of the Poet is pitiful compared to the purely puralistic, pulsating power that is known as the Power of the PAUL~!
Guest Zack Malibu Posted May 10, 2003 Report Posted May 10, 2003 Power of the PAUL~! Expect a lawsuit from Paul Stanley in the morning . And when is the Frank vs. Frank matchup happening!?
Guest Tony149 Posted May 11, 2003 Report Posted May 11, 2003 Guys, when you write your matches, do it in script format please. If you don't know what that means, just read our past PPVs, like AM II, etc. Example: CUE: Your theme music COLE This is the way I like seeing our PPVs written. COACH Sweet! COLE As your booty, girlfriend. COACH Speak to the hand. END EXAMPLE You get the idea.
Guest Lightning Flik Posted May 11, 2003 Report Posted May 11, 2003 I hate script format. Hence why I delegated it off to Shattered Dreams.
LaParkaYourCar Posted May 11, 2003 Report Posted May 11, 2003 I found after writing my first match that doing the script format made the match flow better and made it easier to portray dramatic moments in the match.
Patty O'Green Posted May 11, 2003 Report Posted May 11, 2003 I hate script format. Hence why I delegated it off to Shattered Dreams. Well, I hate script format also!
Guest The Amazing Rando Posted May 11, 2003 Report Posted May 11, 2003 i don't like the script format either... but I can make good outlines that others can script...
Guest Lightning Flik Posted May 11, 2003 Report Posted May 11, 2003 I hate script format. Hence why I delegated it off to Shattered Dreams. Well, I hate script format also! I was just playing true to my namesake you twit. I gave you the real reason why I wasn't doing it.
LaParkaYourCar Posted May 11, 2003 Report Posted May 11, 2003 Script format that he was talking about pretty much pertains to speech and music only. You can write the rest of the match how you want.
Patty O'Green Posted May 11, 2003 Report Posted May 11, 2003 I hate script format. Hence why I delegated it off to Shattered Dreams. Well, I hate script format also! I was just playing true to my namesake you twit. I gave you the real reason why I wasn't doing it. I know that! I was just expressing my dislike for the format. If I have to add in commentary, then this match is going be very short.
LaParkaYourCar Posted May 11, 2003 Report Posted May 11, 2003 How so? I usually write the match then go back in and write commentary so that I know what to have them say to point out certain points of the match. I think it adds to the emotion and energy of the match to have commentary.
Patty O'Green Posted May 11, 2003 Report Posted May 11, 2003 Okay, I'll try writing in the commentary. If it becomes a pain in the ass or gets boring, then I'll have the announcers get knocked out with chairs.
LaParkaYourCar Posted May 11, 2003 Report Posted May 11, 2003 Hey that's always fun. Or do a table spot where they get wiped out.
Guest Lightning Flik Posted May 11, 2003 Report Posted May 11, 2003 Okay, I'll try writing in the commentary. If it becomes a pain in the ass or gets boring, then I'll have the announcers get knocked out with chairs. *laughs* DO IT~! Have Slacks dodge the blows and the announcers get NAILED~!
Guest Tony149 Posted May 11, 2003 Report Posted May 11, 2003 MAJOR UPDATE...AFTER THIS The reason I prefer the script format is because it makes the show easier on the eyes. The matches stay the same, you just do it for commentary and intro music. If you read hD or IZ, you see the commentary meshed together... EX: Cole: What a move by Zack! Coach: How he did that I'll never know. Cole: Zack looks like he's going to the top. Coach: And now you see how smashed this commentary looks like. UPDATE TIME Send all your stuff to Big Poppa Popick. I'm taking a month off posting the shows.
