Re: the other cool-sounding games, my PC isn't powerful enough to play them (like Doom III), and I don't have a console, so no SC2 or Buffy for me. Hmm, what is Fallout: Brotherhood of Steel? Is this supposed to be like a console version of Fallout Tactics? Why isn't Black Isle busy making Fallout 3? And I wonder why Half-Life 2 isn't being shown at E3. First Black Isle lead Feargus Urquhart stepped down so practically nobody from the original Fallout team works there anymore, and the announcement of Brotherhood of Steel (a 3rd person action-oriented console game) has caused nothing but whiny "Thank you, Interplay, for raping Fallout's bloated corpse!" style rambling on internet message boards by dweebs who haven't even played Brotherhood and thus don't even know if it's going to be good. True Crime: Streets of LA (GC) - supposedly a really good game.. Dead Phoenix, Killer 7 and Viewtiful Joe (GC) - 3 of the anticipated Capcom Gamecube games.. Deus Ex: Invisible War (PC) - I was beginning to wonder if it would ever make it, but they seem to be taking their time with it.. SSX 3 (GC) - Tricky was pretty addictive as one of the early Gamecube games.. Metal Gear Solid: The Twin Snakes (GC) - a remake of the first, but still should be a good game.. Soul Calibur II (GC) - LINK! Fighting! Finally a decent fighting game for a Nintendo console.. F-Zero and Mario Kart: Double Dash (GC) - two very anticipated Nintendo releases.. WWE Wrestlemania XIX (GC) XIII (GC) - its a cel shaded first person shooter, so it should be interesting on that point alone. Buffy the Vampire Slayer 2: Chaos Bleeds (GC) - at least the have the decency to release it on the Cube.. Futurama and the Simpsons: Hit and Run(GC) - Futurama sounds pretty good, the Simpsons game is a blatant ripoff but should still be decent enough as a rental.. The X-Files (PS2) - Dont have a PS2, but I like the X Files and it pisses me off its not for the Cube. Couple of items not on the list, not confirmed but possible: Memory Card Adapter (GC) - the possibility of downloadable saves and being able to backup saves on the computer is pretty awesome.. New Zelda, Mario, Metroid and Star Fox games (GC) - all have been pretty much confirmed, I would be shocked to see Zelda, Mario or Metroid footage, but Namco has been working on the Star Fox game for a while so some footage is possible.. The game pretty much flopped as far as # of copies sold, despite the high praise that it got from just about everyone. True, it was one of the better early games for the Gamecube, but I don't see a sequel happening.
