Guest Trivia247 Report post Posted May 5, 2003 # Goldberg has already alienated himself from just about everyone in the locker room because of his attitude and ego. A friend of Goldberg's from back in his WCW days claims that the only way to get along with him is to talk about anything but wrestling because it's frustrating to hear his views on himself and the wrestling business in general. # Speaking of Goldberg, the reason his car stalled out on the 4/21 RAW is because the transmission blew out. One wrestler even joked that it reminded him of his old WCW days. (Thanks to The Pro Wrestling Torch)

Guest mickberna Report post Posted May 6, 2003 I don't have a hard time believing any of this stuff. He seems like a total prima donna. And he obviously doesn't really like the wrestling business, he just likes the paycheck. Outside the ring, he never puts the business over, he never puts any other wrestlers over, he just buries everyone else and promotes himself. Fuck Goldberg. Guest Cover of Darkness Report post Posted May 6, 2003 Normally I don't put stock in these things: When Kurt was getting his got push he was "arrogant" but afterwards he magically became a "locker room leader." Same thing with Brock. But Goldberg has ALWAYS had attitude problems.

But, it seems to happen every other week now.
Guest Eagan469 Report post Posted May 6, 2003 and to think, about a month or two ago we were talking about how Goldberg would be WWE's savior Sting...come on down! You're the next contestent on Save This Company!

Mouthful eh.
Guest Showstoppa Icon Report post Posted May 6, 2003 someone said it before, but WWE is like highschool. Everything is so petty. And of course, HHH is the class tattle-tale. One of the tough enough kids (I forget which one) got heat for not properly introducing himself to the Undertaker. IM sure the kid was probably a little intimidating being in a new situation like that.

Guest Blue Bacchus Report post Posted May 6, 2003 Every place you work is like High School. There are always the same Stereo Types in the business world just as in the High School world. Granted, some places may carry themselves better than others buts its all relative. This is just life people. So he's a Prima Donna. Big deal. I know people at my place of employement who think they're the best at what they do and that their shit doesn't stink. I'd wager you do too.

Mouthful eh. So you're telling me that there's more people complaining about this constant "Fuck Goldberg" bullshit than there are people SAYING "Fuck Goldberg?" You've been at this board long enough to know that every stupid trend around here goes on 'til it's played out to all hell. (See: Kliq gay jokes, RVD hash jokes, HHH-uh jokes, Steiner roid jokes..) It just shows that a large portion of this board violently objects to any signing or appearance on TV that they don't personally approve of, or anyone over 6'. Take your pick. Guest Trivia247 Report post Posted May 6, 2003 Geez and I Forgot my customary Fuck Goldberg and everyone that looks like Goldberg must be getting old heh I made my Goldberg loathing on record with viable reasons pretty mucha year ago when I went on my sitting on the couch eating Cheetos diatribe on here every other week. so its not like Im running with a pack here... But I do feel the need to vent my annoyance at the WWE in how they would sink so low as to hire some guy who actively bashed the WWF as the WCW went off the air. Hell, who hasn't bashed the WWF/E, eh? Their own "co-general manager" wasn't too kind on them not so long ago, either..but I don't see "Fuck Austin" popping up. Hell, Austin's act is even more stale than Goldberg's is.

Guest Boomer Sprinklespax Report post Posted May 6, 2003 id have to say austin is staler than goldberg ....austin has had the same gimmick since 1998....goldberg took 2 years off so When Austin went heel, he added a comedic dimension to his character. He's still stale, but Goldberg's stuff, man, he seriously never updated ANYTHING, and thus is more stale in my eyes. Same moves, same stupid mannerisms, same grunting and yelling like a caveman, same look (save for his new trunks)...really, even when Goldberg "turned heel" in WCW, he was exactly the same. I can do without him. He's just so predictable. Austin can at least make me crack a smile and a chuckle every now and again.

Austin, even though he "changed" was still stale as hell, all over TV, and for a "coward heel" seemed to be Superman an awful lot. He's afraid to change himself because the "What?" is all that's keeping him popular at the moment, and he can't work in the ring to change that. In a lot of ways, Austin's nearly as bad as HHH. We'll just have to wait and see if anything changes, and/or if this entire co-GM thing will elicit any good TV whatsoever. Tonight was bad, in my opinion, but I DO think Austin can be compelling if given a chance to change, as you pointed out (though I think it has less to do with his own fears and more to do with the fears of creative). Also, I loved Austin when he turned heel, and I didn't think he was too stale at that time, especially when he was domineering over Angle/RVD/whoever. The entire Austin heel run was just hilarious, in my opinion, and way better than anything Goldberg has ever been involved with.
