Kinetic 0 Report post Posted May 19, 2008 Raiders of the Lost Ark, bar none. Oh god, so the best. Cutest girl too. Yes. I watched Raiders of the Lost Ark on Spike yesterday and was quite smitten with the actress. Despite it not being set in the 80s, the actress in Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom had a bad case of 80s poodle hair.
Lil' Bitch 0 Report post Posted May 20, 2008 You are the first person I've ever seen say that. I think all 3 films are great of course. Personally, I thought Temple was more enjoyable. Although it is a bit more cheesey (plus Short Round was rather annoying at times so I can understand the hate), it does have a lot of really enthralling action I think. The mine cart chase especially is awesome. Temple had my attention from the get go.
The Ghost of bps21 0 Report post Posted May 20, 2008 My favorite is Last Crusade just because I laugh at everything that Connery does. The dynamic between him and indy was just the best thing ever.
TheOriginalOrangeGoblin 0 Report post Posted May 20, 2008 Raiders and Last Crusade are tied for my favorite. I don't like Temple of Doom too much although that mine chase is the most suspenseful sequence in the series.
Matt Young 0 Report post Posted May 28, 2008 I borrowed the original DVD box set from 2003 from a coworker. It's full screen, but I can't complain. I'll finally get to see all the movies- Raiders for the second time, but I'll actually be fully awake this time around. And my friend who wanted me to go see Crystal Skull said he'd go to see it a second time after I'm finished catching up on the older movies. Combine that with the fact that I've been re-watching the Rambo trilogy and I'm picking up the new one on DVD (didn't see it in theaters), this is shaping up to be a good week for watching badass action hero quadrilogies starring men who are currently in their 60's. Thus concludes my most poorly written post, grammatically speaking, in my entire time here.
