Guest Zack Malibu Report post Posted May 7, 2003 Missy Elliot's "Work It" God I fucking hate that song. Oh and DJ Encore's "See Right Through To You" is another one that gets me going.
Guest benoitrulz4life Report post Posted May 7, 2003 Yes, "Work It" is the bane of my existence. No, Missy Elliott is. If she never made another song in her life, I think my life would be extended five years. As for songs that make me wanna shake it, the Clash's "Rock the Casbah", "Train in Vain", "Bankrobber," and "White Man (In Hammersmith Palais," all come to mind, even though they weren't made for that purpose. Guest notJames Report post Posted May 7, 2003 So many choices… Fishbone - "Party At Ground Zero" ABBA - "Dancing Queen" Any good ska tunes, like the Specials, Op Ivy or old Suicide Machines Kool and the Gang - "Jungle Boogie" Most anything from Rage Against the Machine's self-title album Peaches and Herb - "Shake Your Groove Thing" Slade - "Run, Run Away" Peter Murphy - "Cuts You Up" Most any danceable '80s Eurosynth stuff like Depeche Mode, New Order, or Erasure Revolting Cocks - "Stainless Steel Providers"
Guest papacita Report post Posted May 7, 2003 I didn't like "Work It" at first, but it's grown on me. Timbaland's beats always draw me in... "Thought at Work" by the Roots...That's my song right now. Get Busy by Sean Paul "Addictive" by Truth Hurts and Rakim Tracks 2-7 on the Philadelphia Freeway Album, especially Flipside. Oh, and "Just Another Girl" by Monica...yeah I mark for Monica. I am especially fond of RHCP's "Show Me Your Soul" and their cover of Stevie Wonder's "Higher Ground".
