Favorite entrance music

Recommended Posts

Guest

Who do you think has the best entrance music? Who has your favorite?

I think that Kurt Angle has the best just because the crowd participates with it.

Triple H has my favorite of all time (Motorhead rules). Dx had killer music. I tend to go for the heavier material like that.

I swear to god that if I ever saw Hulk Hogan come out to Real American while dressed in red and yellow I would ball like a bitch. Nostalgia and all ;)

Triple H's rules...and so does Bret's last WWF theme, with the screetching guitar.  Jericho's is just old to me now.  Beniot's RULES......just sounds like he's going to kill you...and he probably will.

I just posted on the foreign board about this, so I'll keep it to just North America. I don't have 1 fav, but love these, DX, HHH(motorhead), Jericho, Benoit, HBK, the last 3 incarnations of Austin's theme, Rock(from vol 3 and 4) .

If you want good music, go no further than Piledriver and The Wrestling Album. Hogan, Hillbilly Jim, Demolition, Slick, aw man. GOLD.

As far as current stuff goes, HHH's rules, but I wish there was more variance in the WWF's music. Seemed at one point last summer that everyone had the same heavy guitar and drums sound. I like Kidman's, for the first 12 seconds only. I liked Shane McMahon's. I play it in my head whenever I walk into a room. Oh, we can't forget "STAND BACK!" as one of the best openings to any music ever.

And simply because I love the guy, RVD's theme RULES.

Of course like everyone I loved HHH's theme. I used to play it every single time after I had sex with my girlfriend.

I loved the Disturbed version of Austin's theme, and of course Goldberg had pretty rad music too.

I hate lita's music. it's almost identical to raven's, and that's pretty lame, especially compared to 'come out and play'. Saturn's is actually pretty #### good, as is Benoit's. Tazz's new one is shit compared to the first. Christian and kanyon have the best wwf themes.

The best EVER was Ted DiBiase's million dollar man theme.

Recent favourites include the Disturbed version of Austin's theme, HHH's old Our Time (the last version before Motorhead) and you've gotta love the ECW/Heyman theme "This Is Extreme!".

HHH's Motorhead theme...no arguments there. I just hope that he doesn't use Drowning Pool's shitty version.

Drowning Pool, STAY THE (firey pits of sulfur) AWAY FROM LEMMY'S MUSIC, YOU BASTARDS!

Yeah, i think that the best themes are the ones that play a part in the wrestler's gimmick, one that adds dimension to them y'know? Anyway, heres my list of faves:

Best Comedic Themes:

Ted Dibiase, Quebecers, Repo Man,

Best Actual Song Themes:

Sandman, Tommy Dreamer, HHH, Austin (Disturbed), Raven ECW

Best Themes that just Kick Ass:

Y2J (either), Owen Hart Blackheart theme (with sirens at start), Real American, Vader WWF, HBK, Jake the Snake WWF

Angle, Benoit, and Flair.

Oh, and Booker's, just because it's different, and not the generic nu-metal crap most wrestlers have these days.

I also liked RVD's "Walk"

I don't like the generic music that WWF makes and WCW made within the company. I also don't like most of the WWF themes done by known bands. Rolling SUCKS, DisTurbed SUCKS, and Motorhead except for "Ace of Spades" were never that good but are simply terrible now.

The best theme would be Ministry's "New World Order" for NWO of course.

Currently, RVD's is my favorite, mainly because it's LOUD, like it should be. His first WWF theme could barely be heard.

Christian's is a close second...

Bret Hart's, Kurt Angle's, Mick Foley's, HHH's (Motorhead), DX, and I've always had a soft spot for "No Chance in Hell".

Sandman's entrance was really the most amazing thing I've seen live..... so I'll vote for that.

Recent favorites in the WWF:

Dudleys' pre-rap theme, the one with the weird record scratching.

HHH's Motorhead music, and My Time.

Austin's Disturbedand classic themes,

And, as someone pointed out, it was used as entrance music, I will always mark the fuck out for "This is Extreme"

Why RVD isn't using 'Walk' right now is beyond me. Pantera could have done a better job at Mania as well.

I also liked Tazz's theme when he first entered the WWF.

An as much as I hate Hogan 'Voodoo Chile' is the shit!!!!!

Billy and Chuck have the best theme in the WWF IMO. For non-main-eventers, the WWF put alot of thought into that music so it could match their characters. It's also guranteed to generate heat as the commom wrestling fan doesn't want to hear N'Sync rip-offs when they come to a wrestling show.

Ted DiBiase's "Money" theme is one of the reasons he's one of my all time favorites.  I heard Hogan's theme and I was like "what a dork".  I heard DiBiase's theme and I was like "this guy is cool".  Austin's psychotic theme during his Alliance tenure was awesome because it matched his persona of the paranoid Champion at the time (especially when he had his goatee more furry)......

Natural Born Killaz.  Everytime you heard the gunshot and screech/whatever that thing was after it, you just knew some poor white guy was about to get his ass whooped.

Most of the new WWF theme songs, sound too much alike to me ... I liked the old school themes, like Demolition and the Midnight X-press.  Out of the more modern ones, it'd be Steiner wcw) or Sabu (ecw) ... out of the WWF, it'd have to be Foley's.
