Road Warriors To Work WWE Dark Matches Next Week

The Road Warriors, Hawk and Animal, will be working dark matches for WWE next week. The former WWE Tag Team Champions will be wrestling at the RAW taping in Philadelphia on Monday, and the Smackdown taping in Baltimore on Tuesday.

 

WWE has been planning for around a month now to give the Road Warriors a few dark matches. The company wants to evaluate them in the ring before offering them a full time contract.

The WWE doesn't give a rats ass about how they can fucking wrestle. They just want to see what kind of a pop are they gonna get, and they're going to get a pop. They're going to get a nostalgia pop that everyone else has fucking got. They're gonna get fucking contracts and totally ruin the tag team scene even more than they're already ruined.

Believe me, he doesn't. They're tight, and IIRC Animal was given a pointless job with WCW in its dying days as well, largely because Ace had major stroke by then within WCW.

 

The thing is this.........damn near every WWE TV taping I've been to, the pops are tremendous for the dark matches just because they are the first signs of action in the night. If they are going to judge strictly by how the fans take to them, thats a guarantee the Roadies will get the job.

 

HA, like Vince cares how a particular guy works in the ring, look at the rolecall of guys he's paid to be brought in within the last year and a half, hardly any of them can fucking work.
