I plan on adding a beer mug soon enough, and the shirt originally said "Ego Buster." I should also sharpen the avatar up, since it looks like poop, but a guy can only do so much when he doesn't really care. :-)

The beard I gave the avatar isn't all that long. I knew I should've made it a different color, and I'd fix it right now if I could. But the program I use is very intent on fucking with me at the moment.

Then you go in and use a paint program or image editing program (like Photoshop) to alter it, so it looks like your character.

Guest Ace309 Posted March 28, 2002 Report Posted March 28, 2002 As stated earlier in the thread, you have to save an avatar that's already around, and edit it in a picture editor such as Paintshop Pro or Photoshop. There's no "Puroresu Avatar Maker" available on google or anything. If you really want an avatar, you can either edit an existing one or freeform one in a picture or vector program.

When there were avatars on the board, I just saved one to my computer and tinkered with it on MS Paint for awhile until it looked like what I wanted. Like all the other avatars you've seen, it takes a bit of art skill to pull a good looking one. No amazing program that'll create one for you like Flesher said. As a tip though, use another avatar as a template to make life easier on you. Believe it or not, the avatar I use now was derived from Hiroshi Hase. Somebody chime in with a good avatar site for this guy 'cause I know that question will come up shortly.
Guest Ace309 Posted March 28, 2002 Report Posted March 28, 2002 I get mine from http://members.tripod.co.jp/pro_wrestling/ The site's in Kanji, but if you hover over the left-side navigation bar you'll see links to "new.html" (New Japan), "all.html" (All Japan), etc. They should have something at least *close* to your look there. Try to picture a wrestler you can model it on.
