Ultimo Dragon to wear new mask in WWE

Why did he have to change his mask? In my opinion, this new one is complete ass. I greatly prefered his old one. What is everyone elses opinion on the new mask?

I agree, it doesn't look at all good. It's far too generic. However, I think they'll probably have Ultimo pull a Rey Mysterio Jr. and wear a new mask every week.

The mask looks a bit weird to me, but to be honest, I've never seen Ultimo Dragon work. Does Kazaa have any of his good matches on video? I'd like some suggestions to see how he is. I've heard over the years he's awesome.

For some reason, I don't think that this new mask is the WWE's bidding. From the look on Ultros face, I'm guessing that he probably had a hand with the new mask creation.

 

Can't really see it all that well, but it looks good. Haven't seen his older ones except in sigs, so I can't really say it is worse.

AustinHHH4life, there are plenty of Ultimo Dragon matches on KaZaA, I've had about 5-6 waiting to be downloaded for a good long while.

It does look like shit, but it's a shitty picture that doesn't allow you get a feel for it.

 

I'll reserve judgement until WWe releases some official pictures of him in it. It may actually look ok when seen in it's full glory.

 

I also think Ultimo had a hand in this redesign. Rey has the same mask design, so WWe doesn't have a history of making a big name change his mask.

He wore that mask before (or at least something very similar) when he made his big comeback on the 9/8/02 Toryumon. He switched back to his old gear at the end of the show.

 

I liked the old one better, but as long as he wrestle like he has been, it's a minor point.

His matches against Rey and Chris Jericho were two really good matches. Make sure to get those.

I'm not really too big a fan of his older mask but his new one isn't that much of an improvement. But I do like his new one a little better.
