Ultimo NOT to debut at JD.

I don't know, I'm sure there is a lot of stuff that everyone does that someone would be pissed at them for spending money one. I personally don't give a shit though, and I don't see why you guys would obsess over something so stupid. Just get off of it, really.

Buying Judgment Day and watching RAW tells Vince that you want to see Big Show and Nash in the main event and that you want Eddie and Benoit stuck in the mid card or not on ppv at all. Even if you hate Nash and only like certain segments.

Don't you want change? You don't want WWE to improve. Is your plan to just sit around waiting for Vince to improve while you try as hard as you can to justify everything he does?

You don't get it, not at all. I just want to watch JD, and I'm sure many of you guys will be begging me for my PPV login information when the PPV is on.

Even if I order something that you guys dislike and it HELPS WWE, I get that. But shit like that goes on all the time. People buy CD's that I fucking hate, people watch MOVIES that I fucking hate, and the list goes on and on, this is no different. I don't care what someone watches, and I see no reason you should either.

If you really want to bitch, do as I've suggested and bitch at the people who REALLY matter, that being the casual fans who give a shit about what people think on the internet. Go and actually try to do something instead of complaining to me, recruit the casual fans to boycott it, that's the only way this will fucking matter.

Go ahead, keep feeling like you are doing a noble thing, that's great, it's almost cute, really...it is...ok, it isn't.

I was a mark for him too. I miss Ono. I completely forgot about him. *sigh* Makes me miss WCW's midcard angles from around that time.

Oh my God, there is ANOTHER one!?

I just miss WCW period, it had a certain charm about it even when it sucked, for me at least.

Wait, lemme get this straight...

Downhome, you are thinking about leaving these boards yet you continue to pay for WWE PPVs no matter how completely shitty they are?

Okey Dokie.

I agree. I miss WCW as well. Even during their darkest days, they always had some fun stuff. It may not have been great, but at least they seemed to be having some fun and trying to make people interesting. I sometimes wonder if the WWE is even trying anymore. I am just glad I was lucky to enough to tape a few Nitros so if I ever have the urge I can pop them in the VCR.

I don't care what someone watches, and I see no reason you should either.

It's simple. I want change. Vince will not change when he knows there are people with low standards who will buy anything.

What I don't get is why did Downhome make a thread about him buying Judgement Day...

Yeah, I want change too in a lot of things, but I'm not bashing people who do enjoy it. Grow up, and learn how to really achive your goals. You sitting here crying on a webpage wll not do anything, go out and actually do something meaningfull. As I've said, you need to focus on getting to the casual fans, NOT me and others here who still watch WWE.

The point of that was to share the information from the Ultimo interview, I just shared that it made me want to see JD that much more.

We tried. If I recall correctly you kept complaining about how we were going about it...

We can't do anything about it because there's not enough people. Too many people are willing to just accept the crap. That's what we're bitching about!

I complained about having the focus be only a one night boycott, that is it. If you all could somehow create a mass, 100% boycott of WWE involving the casual fans, those that just watch the show like any other TV shows, etc... then you could possibly reach your goal. I loved the ideas about writing and emailing and calling WWE, I was all for it.

It IS possible for you guys to get something done, but bitching about it right here on TSM is not going to get it done, nor is shitty ass online petitions.

I gave ideas, everything, all in the name of your cause, I just choose to still watch Pro. Wrestling as I have for almost all of my life.

You need to make it known to Vince McMahon, etc.. themselves what is going on, and you need to do so in many different ways. You need to SOMEHOW recruit normal at home fans to join you, that is the only way.

Like I said, there's not enough interest for all that. Too many people have your attitude of "well I am a loyal fan so I have to watch". That's why we are bitching. That attitude sucks and is partially to blame.

Your attitude right there is what is wrong. I'm sure you could find quite a few people over the internet at various boards and places that feel as you do, and would help in some way. Besides, you don't need to focus on the internet in the first place. Just use people from the net to spread the word in the "real world" about what you are doing. Say, focus on the areas like where the WWE base is, and also where their upcoming shows is, and plan SOMETHING for that area which would allow WWE officials to realize some people are unhappy.

Even if it started as a few, it could grow.

If you try everything you can, and no one joins you, then YOU need to realize that enough of people aren't pissed off at WWE to take such actions, and it's just a matter of YOU thinking WWE is doomed, while many others feel it's alright for now.

All I'm saying is try something which would actually work, that's all. Bitching here on this site will not work. Why don't you start with getting a bunch of people from the net to do polls that are put together by you and others who lead it, and give these polls to those in the "real world"? Take it to places where you know wrestling fans are. Perhaps outside of places where WWE events are behind held, or better yet, Indy fed shows and the such. Or hell, just poll various people asking if they watch WWE in the first place. That would be a great start for you to do or something.\

There are many things you could do, and I'm sure you haven't even touched the tip of the iceberg.

If I truly felt strongly enough about something, as you guys seem to do, I would be working MY ass off at trying to get something done. Where there's a will, there has to be a way, you just need to find it.

We couldn't get more than like 3 people here on this forum. A huge forum with like a ton of posters and where just about everyone seems to have major problems with the product.

And bitching about it makes me feel better.

Well then use those three people or so, and use them to allow it to grow. If you are so certain you can change things, then go out there and try. Each three of you should go out and poll the casual fans themselves and see what they TRULY think right now. Go to local indy shows and get started! Go to where WWE shows are being held and get started!

Or just continue to bitch about it if you feel that's all that you can do. Just don't resort to childish antics, all that does is make you look immature, which will lead to others (if they see it) not taking you seriously.

I'm all for you guys trying to reach a goal that you all feel so strongly about, I think that's a great thing. I'll even continue to give you ideas to help you, if you want. I, like many others, just choose to continue to watch WWE come hell or high water, it's "what I do" regardless.

Fuck it, I'll go to an NWA Wildside show and poll them myself if you want me to start, as I said, I'm all for it. Just actually DO something if you are going to complain about it so much. You seem to have the heart for doing something, so just get out there and make it happen, MAKE it happen.

Or, like I said, just bitch if that is what helps you make it through the day, heh. I don't understand how you can bitch though if you never watch the shows. If I hated WWE so much I would just quit following it totally and just live off of in great indy's accross the nation untill I heard it was starting to improve to your standards.

It isn't like this folder has hardly any TRUE discussion of Pro. Wrestling anymore.

What is "true" discussion of Pro Wrestling, pray? I'm curious.

"Did Vince really screw Bret?"

"Who is the diva you'd like to bone the most?"

"Rank your favorite wrestlers."

"What matches are going to happen at Wrestlemania XX?"

Am I close?

Actually having a discussion about Pro. Wrestling, instead of resorting to dribble putting down one another, flaming, and that sort of thing. I don't care if you discuss how bad it is in your eyes, as long as you do so maturely, which more times than not does not happen.

Not to mention being able to accept someones opinion even if they are opposite of yours.

Saying things like "I hope all the Hossi tear a quad, OMG~!" is not discussing the topic, it's just mindless dribble with no point. Same goes for saying you hope someone DIES, that is just insane. If you don't like something, do so with half a brain and then if someone disagrees with you allow them to present their point of view, and just go back and forth discussing it.

Like I said though, more times than not it's nothing like that at all. It USED to be, but no longer, and that is sad. This place used to be known as THE place for discussion, but even if you don't want to believe it, that rep. has begun to change.

Fuck it, I've been guilty of being an ass myself, many of us need to shape up and help clean this place up once again. We have some of the smartest fans on the net right here, and we need to start making that known once again.

When you must resort to name calling, and other such crap it doesn't help your cause one bit. Not only does it make you look childish, but it makes the WWE folder as a whole look that much worse. I'm not saying it's YOU, but just others here. You seem to the the most calm of them all, lol.

Yes, I know you bitch because you care, but it isn't helping anything. If you really care as much as you say, then at least go out and try to do something about it. Put the energy you put into posting here and bitching at people into something that might, MIGHT, actually help you in the end.

If you have totally quit watching, then that's your choice, but don't put down those who haven't, especially on here. Like I said, it's the casual fans you need to reach, not us at TSM. If you want it to improve, and you do not feel Vince and Co. will do so, then get out there and try for yourself to get it done, by whatever means you, and anyone else (including me if you wish) can think of.

It IS possible, but not by what you have decided to do.

I understand that, I really do. However, I must wonder why you don't go out and actually try either some of the things that I've suggested, or get creative and do some of your own.

Why not just ask around to see what casual fans you can get that agree with you? I'm sure you could find people at indy shows that would help you out.

DH, I will agree with you that the quad tear jokes are not funny due to their overuse, and wishing a wrestler death has no place in a message board or elsewhere.

As for the back-and-forth discussion, I like that. However, I find that too often the other side just gives up, or flame baits.

I remember when we would discuss Nathan Jones. You thought he was worth it because he "moves well for a big man" and has a "look and intensity similar to Goldberg", and criticized those who bashed him without seeing him. I, who had seen him, thought he wasn't worth the hype with the vignettes and the announcers acting like he was a big deal. He debuted, was given a WM spot, and the match had to be changed due to his ineptness. Instead of saying that you might have been mistaken, you claimed that they were "holding off what he can do" and of course, absolutely loved it. Then he was bitched out by the Full Blooded Italijobbers and hasn't been seen since. Now that he isn't even mentioned on the shows anymore, answer me this: was it worth the hype?

Like Sakura, I want to like WWE, they just don't offer a lot of reasons to do so. I do not understand why anyone would want to buy what Judgment Day is selling, but if you're going to give me a reason, please let it be better than "it's just $17.95", otherwise just let it be. You know the saying: "It is better to be thought the fool...."

Anyway, I doubt it's even worthwhile for me to go out and poll people, as wrestling isn't even a big deal where I live. There isn't any indys around either.
