Guest stardust Report post Posted May 9, 2003 Oh, okay. I was just wondering because if it was after you'd only been employed, drug testing is a VERY rocky area. And the verdict's still out on hair strand tests. A lot of courts have ruled that it's an invasion of privacy (considering it can tell how long ago you did any sort of drug, what drug it was, and how much of it), but for the most part it's a very up in the air issue. Guest Mole Report post Posted May 9, 2003 It actually takes 30 days for pot to leave your system, so there is a slight chance you might fail. However, if you just drink tons of water, you'll be fine. I know someone who has smoken on the day of their piss test, and passed it. He kept drinking water until his piss was clear, then took the test and passed. Read into it before drinking 5 gallons of water to try and clear your system of drugs so you can pass the test, and yes, thats about how much youd have to drink to clear your system within say, 48 hours. There have been a couple situations I've heard of people smoking the day of their test and passing regardless. Unless they're pulling hair (for the millionth time in this thread) you'll pass. Caffeine however IS proven to help cleanse your system A LITTLE BIT as I was being screened once and I was not permitted to drink caffeine for that reason. If you want to be absolutely 100% sure you will pass, go to your local health store like GNC and there are drug test kits which are like 50 bucks, and are 100% guarenteed to pass you or your money back. They totally flush your system of any toxins. However, the money best buy is paying you - I would just fail the drug test. Stop being a fool and get out of retail.
