Guest AndrewisyourHero Posted May 11, 2003 Report Posted May 11, 2003 I'm going with monkeys flinging poo at the wall
Guest AndrewTS Posted May 11, 2003 Report Posted May 11, 2003 I'm seriously curious...now that Pual Heyman was demoted (to where I have no idea) and that Steph has taken over the team...WHO makes up the creative writing team? Former wrestlers? Suits? Professional writers? Vince comes up with the main angles, and Steph heads creative. Professional writers (i.e. writers formerly from bad sitcoms) have to follow Vince's basic ideas without argument.
Guest Cerebus Posted May 11, 2003 Report Posted May 11, 2003 So besides for Vince and Steph no one with wrestling experience (i.e. Heyman) writes the storylines?
Guest Sakura Posted May 11, 2003 Report Posted May 11, 2003 ...what? Why? Why would you need wrestling experience to write for WWE? They "make movies" and have an "action/adventure" show.
Guest CoreyLazarus416 Posted May 11, 2003 Report Posted May 11, 2003 I'm REALLY willing to bet that at least one writer from the piece of shit known as THAT 80'S SHOW is on the WWE writing team...
Guest AndrewisyourHero Posted May 11, 2003 Report Posted May 11, 2003 That 80's show may have sucked, but the punk rock chick was SMOKING hot
Guest AndrewTS Posted May 11, 2003 Report Posted May 11, 2003 So besides for Vince and Steph no one with wrestling experience (i.e. Heyman) writes the storylines? I think stooges like Patterson may or at least pitch ideas. Ace has reportedly had input into the booking of the matches, and I figure Rooster probably does too. However, I'm not exactly sure. I'm REALLY willing to bet that at least one writer from the piece of shit known as THAT 80'S SHOW is on the WWE writing team... It wouldn't surprise me, although even if they had good writers, if you have to do what Vince tells you you're still going to be churning out crap.
