Guest Memphis Posted May 9, 2003 Report Posted May 9, 2003 Thanks for the update Ronixis. Just wondering, what system will this be available for? It's probably right in front of me however I cannot locate it. Thanks. M
Guest Sandman9000 Posted May 10, 2003 Report Posted May 10, 2003 He's right, Z is PS2 exclusive. D was mad fun, so if anyone has a modded PS2 and can get this game, I highly urge them to spend the money. They will not be disapointed.
Guest Cavi Posted May 10, 2003 Report Posted May 10, 2003 This and All Star Pro Wrestling III (and the Metal Slug 3 port) this summer makes me glad I picked up a JPN PS2.
Guest Smell the ratings!!! Posted May 10, 2003 Report Posted May 10, 2003 it'll be a long time till i can afford this but, just out of curiosity, is a flip top still the way to go for playing japaneses games on an american ps2?
Guest Ronixis Posted May 10, 2003 Report Posted May 10, 2003 Not sure if a Flip Top will work with Fire Pro Z until SpunkWhy or Montior test the game out, and that could be at least a good 6 weeks from now. But I think it will work with the Flip Top... I am certain if it does not work with the Flip Top, then they will make certain corrections to that program. But I did hear about some kind of USB thing that could play Imports...Not sure if it works, or even exists. But if it does and for the right price, it could end Flip Tops for good... Anyway, back to the game- Here is a video for the game: http://kocaccess.gswf.org/fpz.zip GET the newest DivX Codec before dowloading this.
Guest El Gigante Posted May 10, 2003 Report Posted May 10, 2003 Looks like a great game, I'm going to have to get my hands on it somehow.
Guest Sandman9000 Posted May 10, 2003 Report Posted May 10, 2003 Damn, no love for Extreme Blade (Elix Skipper). This close to having XXX in Fire Pro Z. Also no love for Super Dragon or Amazing Red. They work for All Japan, right?
Guest mach7 Posted May 12, 2003 Report Posted May 12, 2003 Woah, what's with the total absence of WWE? Normally the Firepro series would have a slew of North American talent... it's wierd to see that the only ones on there now are mainstays in Japan.
LaParkaYourCar Posted May 12, 2003 Report Posted May 12, 2003 Hey that's true. Where are all the American Stars?
Guest sean pyro Posted May 13, 2003 Report Posted May 13, 2003 I'm really disappointed on the fact no WWE stars will be in the game, I've read that the reason why is because Yukes gave them some shit. Thats a shame since this is *RUMOR* to be the last Fire Pro game.. But anyways here's the list of Wrestlers in the game. (note: it was posted by a forum memeber over on GameFAQS FPZ board) New Japan: Fujinami Chono Nagata Tenzan Nakanishi Iizuka Kantaro Hoshino Nishimura Yasuda Hirata (Makai Mask #1, Super Strong Machine) Ryushi Yanagisawa Tatsutoshi Goto Hiro Saito Yoshie Nagai (Makai Mask #5) Hiroshi Tanahashi Shinsuke Nakamura (only a rookie, hope he has a decent moveset or we'll have to remake him in a few months) Ohara Blue Wolf Norton Giant Silva Mike Barton Giant Singh Jim Steele Super J (jeez, why is he still in?) LaParkaYourCar Posted May 13, 2003 Report Posted May 13, 2003 Didn't someone already post the list of wrestlers in the game? And their list had some names that aren't on your list.
Guest sean pyro Posted May 13, 2003 Report Posted May 13, 2003 I didn't make the list like I said and this is the first FPZ thread I have seen here.. The list was translated from this site http://www.geocities.co.jp/Playtown-Bingo/...8559/rename.htm Fireproclub is reporting the same list.
LaParkaYourCar Posted May 13, 2003 Report Posted May 13, 2003 Oh and the list of the 144 Stars? http://crippler192.home.attbi.com/fpz/roster.txt This is what I meant. From the first post of this thread.
Guest Memphis Posted May 13, 2003 Report Posted May 13, 2003 LYGER POWAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ...Sorry, but i felt it was necessary. M
Guest benoitrulz4life Posted May 13, 2003 Report Posted May 13, 2003 There is a complete list on the deathvalleydriver.com message board, just look on the first page or two and it should be there. As for the lack of American wrestlers, I wouldn't be surprised if the heads were nonchalantly included, after all, there are about a hundred heads that don't have characters. If they're there, it would be a simple task to create them with FPD as a model.
Guest Smell the ratings!!! Posted May 13, 2003 Report Posted May 13, 2003 I wouldn't be suprised if Yukes got shitty about the WWF guys. Because they make shitty games, I imagine Yukes as shitty people. And yeah, it's never been terribly hard to make someone in firepro due to the 480,000 heads, 300,000 costumes and 4.2 billion moves.
Guest CoreyLazarus416 Posted May 13, 2003 Report Posted May 13, 2003 And the only way to get a Fire Pro game in the States is via download (ROM & emulator) or import (which requires an add-on)...argh...
Guest benoitrulz4life Posted May 14, 2003 Report Posted May 14, 2003 FPD only requires a GameShark, which was twenty bucks. I don't how they are going to convert the import for play on American PS2's, if they even are.
