Damn things scared the hell out of me as a youngin. I had a freak out in a store when I was little cause a lady was standing next to one, thus I thought she was one, and when she turned around I went bat shit.

I was always scared of the "Test of the Emergency Broadcasting System" noise as a kid.

 

It was just a loud obnoxious noise and I heard the word emergency and freaked out.

Snakes. We lived near a wooded area and one day a big ass California King Snake slithered out of my toy box. Luckily I didn't go out and play before then!

I always used to think there were these ugly bearded men hiding under my bed who were gonna pull me under my bed if I left my feet or arms hanging over the side, and after they'd pulled me under, they were gonna kidnap me (somehow). Oddly enough, to this day, I still can't stand to have my feet or arms hanging off the edge of the bed.

I was scared of that also. It was freaky just having a beep and emergency on the screen at the time.

 

Also, I was afraid of that tower that came up after some shows on Nickelodeon(I think You Can't Do that on Television was one of them). I cant remember what the thing was, but I think it was like the company that produced the show or something like that but for some reason it just freaked me out.
