Just bought the DVD with all the extras. It is an absolute MUST HAVE. What a classic. Anybody else who's seen it and care to comment?

I saw it last year for my film class, and it was a great movie. Jack just shows how good of an actor he is in this movie.

i never really got what the big deal was about it. it's a good movie and all, and jack is his usual great self, but nothing to really cream in my pants over.

I read the book a couple of summers ago and really liked it, but I have been unable to find a copy of the movie.

Along with Five Easy Pieces its Jack Nicholson's best performance in my eyes. The supporting cast is excellent as well in making it a powerful and memorable film. Probably one of the best American films of the 70's.
