Guest Zero_Cool Report post Posted May 12, 2003 I knew about this board one way or another back in mid to late 2001, after IGN Wrestling closed down. I didn't register until I came in with the IGNWF, now SWF, back before WM X-8.
Guest Still Fly Report post Posted May 12, 2003 I've been an off and on poster at the SMARK/Smartmarks boards since June 2001. The old ez-board days. They were some great days
Guest Vitamin X Report post Posted May 12, 2003 I've been posting here since around when Rantsylvania was becoming TheSmarks. Admittedly, I was a fan of Scotsman (and still am, I visit Scotsmanality.com every now and then) and I always liked Rick Scaia's positive spin on things as well as CRZ's recaps. So I visited rantsylvania, wrestleline, and slashwrestling. They begat online onslaught, the smarks, and now it's TSM, 411mania, and scotsmanality. I've always posted here since the EZboard days, but didn't really get into it, until very very briefly last summer when I posted only a little bit in the Music folder aside from the WWE folder, and now ever since a couple weeks before I moved to Miami and now that I'm here, I post a lot everywhere I go. Guest El Satanico Report post Posted May 12, 2003 I knew apo(alwayspissedoff) from aol WWF chat room days and we were part of a small site/mb with others we knew from the chat room. Well the site shut down and the mb died down alot. APO suggested that I check out the mb at smarks.com. I lurked for awhile before joining, but I've been around since 2000 give or take. Also, I had never heard of Scott Keith before joining and I only know him by name now.
Guest HBK16 Report post Posted May 12, 2003 I accidently stumbled in one day while just searching for sites on Google. So ever since this baord was on EZBoard.com I have been a member. Dont remember exactly when that was though.
Guest the 1inch punch Report post Posted May 12, 2003 I am one of the many that bounced along when it went from thesmarks to this, i tried posting in the 411forums for a while, but its not the same
Guest Skironox Report post Posted May 13, 2003 Well, I've been lurking this board for about 2 years now. I think I was browsing the old CRZboard and a link to this board somehow showed up. I liked the topics and discussions well enough (Hell, I've never seen a fast food forum before in my life). I posted briefly but then I went back to lurking. I've seen alot of good times here.... Guest AlwaysPissedOff Report post Posted May 13, 2003 My story is pretty much the same as Tom's. A old buddy on AOHell linked me to SK's Fully Loaded 2000 rant and I generally ignored the messageboard til around when the Smarks ezBoard was started and I decided to give it a try and have been posting since then. Rendclaw 0 Report post Posted May 13, 2003 my friend and former roommate back in Orlando showed me to OO, which was cool, then I saw Dames' PPV and TNA recaps, and one night I checked out TSM, and aside from the BTR site, its the only wrestling sites I visit regularly. Dames' Diatribes brought me here, Brandon's shoot interview reviews made me stay. Everything else is gravy. Most of the time.
Guest KingOfOldSchool Report post Posted May 13, 2003 I knew about theSmarks forums back when it was an ezboard, and even lurked on and off towards the end of it's life cycle. When theSmarks switched to Ikonboard, I registered, but rarely posted. As luck should have it, I was a member of the IGNWF at the time, and after leaving IGN, we struck a deal with the pre-Dames regime and became the SWF. And I've been here since. Guest Plushy Al Logan Report post Posted May 13, 2003 I was searching for John Tenta, and it brought me here on April Fools Day of 2002, sadly it was also the one year aniversary of my parnets splitting up.
Guest Miss Indy Queen Report post Posted May 14, 2003 I've known Dames since 98' and he told me he was planning on taking over the board. I didn't start actually coming to the board until a few months later.
Guest Kingpk Report post Posted May 14, 2003 Found Rantsylvania in 1999 or so, but didn't post much on the Delphi board until early 2001 (I remember joining a RR game that Becker won). Then the switch to TheSmarks and ezBoard and I've been somewhat of a regular ever since.
Guest Lil Naitch Report post Posted May 23, 2003 Funny story My site that I always went to was Wrestiling Inc.com. When it closed, I hunted around and found Wrestlecrap.com (which closed, but then came back; much like WrestlingINC, I later found out) and in the mailbag it had a link to a site called TheSmarks. I read Kieth and I liked it, so I stayed on that site. On 9/11, I logged on to get away from all of that crazy shit, adn they had taken the site down in respects to the victims, but they left the current events forum open on the old board. I registerd, stayed with that board untill the changeover, where I re-registerd as FoleyDDP. When TheSmartMarks took over, I stayed on because I like the board, and with a recent name change and a renewed interest in posting, I plan on staying here as long as I can.
