Guest MarvinisaLunatic Posted May 11, 2003 Report Posted May 11, 2003 Title should read FEKA..damn errors..anyway.. Sorry for the "What the hell is this?" title..Anyway, I found this site over on Total Fark that has scans of the "Johnny Turbo" comics that were found in some video game magazines several years ago. Basically they were TTI's (The company that made the TurboGraphix16/TurboDuo) attempt to try to ahem.."inform" video gamers that the SEGACD, represented by FEKA in the comics, was not the first CD system (The TurboDuo was), and it was also more expensive than the TurboDuo, and some other non-sense. Now, the comic is funny as it is, but the comments provided take it to another level, especially with the third one which is chock full of sexual (and gay) overtones and art, but you should read them in order, saving the third one for last to get the most out of it. Intro Episode 1: The Master Plan Episode 2: Let'em Dangle Episode 3: Sleepwalker (The Third one in case you cant wait and read the intro and first two) Funniest thing I've seen in a long time, hands down. IT DOESN'T EVEN COMPARE!
Guest razazteca Posted May 11, 2003 Report Posted May 11, 2003 I thought this was a Yu-Gi-oh thread stupid me
Guest Blue Bacchus Posted May 12, 2003 Report Posted May 12, 2003 I remember reading those in EGM years ago. They're still retarded. It's no wonder NEC couldn't succeed over here like it had in Japan. The marketing wasn't there.
