I've got tapes and I've got indy wrestling for my personal wrestling fix, so it's not like I won't have ANY wrestling to watch if they go under. Perhaps I'm being naive or just nearsighted, but what was the point to this. I don't think that you saying you don't need to watch the wwf, in the wwf folder, is really post worthy is it, especially without any real speculation as to why it will self destruct. Guest Report post Posted March 24, 2002 I had made a few prior posts regarding the goings-on in the WWF, including the poll about whether the wrestling industry would be better off if the WWF went out of business. I've been a WWF fan for a long time, but maybe the negativity of the 'net is finally starting to wear me down because I seem to watch wrestling out of force of habit more than anything nowadays. I mean, it's such a great feeling knowing that, to get any kind of news updates on the wrestling world, you have to go to a website which has its own particular anti-WWF slant to it. And that's the truth. No matter how good the in-ring product of the WWF ever gets, it'll always be the "sports entertainment" fed, the "gimmick" fed, the "circus" fed in the minds of most people. Any even remotely positive review seems to consist of a lot of "it was good, BUT..." comments. So when it comes to the WWF, it's still entertaining to me(GOOD F@#$ING GOD, SOMEONE LIKES THE WWF, GUN HIM DOWN IN THE DEAD OF NIGHT!), but I've got plenty of other ways to occupy my time if they go under thanks to their recent stupid decisions(McMahons over all else, bringing in the NWO and pissing off the established guys, etc.) Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

Actually, from my experience online, a "true pro wrestling fan" is one that nitpicks, whines, bitches, and moans about how things could be SO much better, about how everyone's either overpushed or misused, someone that gets their hopes up for each show only to be let down each and every time thanks to their overinflated expectations, someone that firmly believes that there's no such thing as selflessness in pro wrestling and every time someone jobs or puts someone over it's part of some EVIL MASTER PLOT TO TAKE OVER THE UNIVERSE, etc., etc.(unless that person has high workrate, in which case he's being a good company man and an all-around swell human being and GOD DAMN IT WHY ISN'T HE CHAMPION SCREW YOU VINCE).
