Now I'm not saying you can't like a certain kind of music...but when you take on the personalities of the music, then you make the list. Emo Kid...all whiney and overly sensitive, will cry at the drop of a hat Indie Kid...anything that's simi mainstream sucks. Likes a band till they hit it big, then that bad is a sellout. Juggalos...kids who take ICP way too seriously Metal Kids...love metal and anything else sucks and goddamn you if you don't agree. Guest Vitamin X Report post Posted May 13, 2003 Indie fans are definitely the worst, followed closely by the metal fan mentioned, even though I think the 2 ironically have similarities in that they'll hate something mainstream for the sake of it being mainstream, and wanting to be rebellious by going against the norm. But at least the metal kids like good music, and have good reason to feel that way. I personalyl think it's narrow minded to put yourself into liking one particular genre of music because it's not "hard enough" or it s "mainstream" or "it's not ghetto fool" (GOD I FUCKING HATE THAT!!!! I have not really ran into many juggalos, emo kids, etc., and the ones who I have did exactly do much to really get on my nerves. While I have had known people who loved rap, who I got along with just fine, the white kids who are way into usually get on my nerves. If I knew them in person, they usually felt the overwhelming need to blare their music at very loud decibels as if I wanted to listen to it. The ones I have met Online talk in all slang and/or feel the need to tYpE LiKe tHiS. Plus, they usually had the personality of a piece of driftwood, and never seemed like the brightest bulbs in the package. And as a fan of both hip-hop and metal, I think the people who bitch about either one are both annoying after a while. I have plenty of friends who only listen to one or the other and can't understand why I like both. For one thing, a metalhead just happens to prefer metal over everything else, but will still listen to other forms of music. Ex. me and Agent. He's also really into jam, and I'm also into 80's synth pop. But I wholeheartedly agree that metal elitists are just about the worst elitists ever. As for those available, indie kids. Emo kids are stuck in a phase of their life, and will grow out of it in due time. White kids who take rap too seriously end up killing each other, or something, and thus thin out their numbers. Juggalo's are passionate about ICP because they love everything about the band (but many do take ICP, a self-admitted joke, way too seriously)*. Indie kids, however, hate everything that has a following larger than 15. I haven't met a single indie kid who has shown me otherwise. * = The reason Juggalo's are at a lot of wrestling shows is because of ICP directly. ICP are both on-the-side wrestlers, and are huge fans of wrestling (as seen by the fact that they've released footage from Japan, started their own promotion, and do a few indy dates here and there, as well as having been the only music group to appear on television for each of The Big 3 of the late 90's).
