i left 1995 out on purpose.

Personally, I have to go with '94. Owen won and the wrestling was above solid.

I did the same poll on the old ezboard. Most went with '93 & '94. '95 was hated the most. As for me, I voted for '93. The tournament was good, it had the death of Hulkamania. I also liked '94 & '98.

I voted for 94 with 93 coming in a close 2nd (Hart/Hennig was ****+)

95 was the worst and 2000 was the most disapointing tournament with a bad ME and worse finish (Rock pins Vince to win HHH's World title)

1993 had the best tournament and the end of Hulkamania.  It wins.

93 and 2001 are my favs. 93 had Bret/Perfect and 2001 had Angle/Shane O Mac street fight which was great. The tourney wasn't bad and Austin/Benoit/Jericho was pretty good.

I like 1993.  It was good to see Bret win the first KOTR on PPV.

1994 - Owen's baseball slide on the 123 Kid remains the greatest first move in a wrestling match eeeever!

My Top 3 would probably be 1998, 2001, 1993.

1998 is my favorite because most of the matches were average or better.  The 6-man opener with The Headbangers & Taka vs. KaiEnTai was pretty good, the actual tournament matches (Shamrock-Jarrett, Rock-Servern, and Rock-Shamrock) were all pretty good.  X-Pac had a great comeback match against Owen, The Outlaws and New MX put on a great old-school match.  Plus the PPV the had the first GREAT HOLY-SHIT moment in wrestling with the HIAC.

2001 had some decent-good tournament matches that didn't really match up to 98's (Angle-Christian, Edge-Rhyno, Edge-Angle).  Angle-Shane McMahon was one of the best King of the Ring matches of all-time.  Hell, Angle's performance was one of the best of all-time.  I liked the 3-way main event, but I know that many other peope were disappointed in it.

1993 I saw a very long time ago.  I think the last time I saw it was 5 years ago.  This show is good becuase the matches are all 10 minutes or longer.  Bret had good matches with Perfect and Bigelow, plus we saw Hogans final match (for 9 years) in the WWF, when Yokozuna beats him with his own move for the WWF title.

I have good memories of 1993 and 1994. '93 had the good Bret matches, plus the death of Hulkamania, PLUS, HBK's awesome interview following the Hogan/Yokozuna match where he mocks Hogan. As I was an HBK mark at the time, that instantly became my favorite interview ever.

I picked 2001 because I was lucky enough to go and it was the first appearance of the WCW champion on WWF TV.

How loud was it everytime Shane McMahon got suplexed through a pane of glass?

King of the Ring '94 is my favorite. There were some good matches in the tournament and I really liked it when Owen won. I also enjoyed the title match between The Hit Man and Diesel. The only thing bad about that PPV was Art Donovan's commentating. It was actually pretty funny when he asked "Who's the guy in the American shirt?" (Lex Luger)

I like all the pre-attitude era crap King of the Rings from 1993 to 1997.

My favorite was KOTR 1996 with SCSA/Mero having a **** opener. Great main event and the birth of Stone Cold. Surprised only I voted for this.

1995 was okay for me. At least it had a few wrestlecrap inductees wrestling.(Irwin R. Schyster, Mabel, Kama, Sparky Thurman Plugg)
