Tihs Sunday, the final 4 left in the battle royal are Christian, Rob Van Dam, Kane, and Chris Jericho. RVD eliminates Jericho. RVD and Kane team up on Christian, dominating him. They go to throw him over the top, but he holds on and lands on the apron. Jericho pops up and nails RVD in the back with a chair, followed by hitting Kane in the face with it. Chrsitian rolls back in and throws Kane over the top. He does the same with RVD, and Christian is the new IC champion. As the heels are leaving, Rob Van Dam gets on the mic and says that if it wasn't for Jericho, he or Kane would have that IC title. They want revenge. They offer the heels a tag team title match right now. Jericho and Christian accept. RVD plays Ricky Morton throughout the majority of this 15 minute match. Hot tag to Kane, chaos ensues. Christian and Jericho get caught in a double choke from Kane, but they both kick him low. They each get a tag team title belt and go for a con-chair-to type move with both belts, but Kane ducks. He throws Jericho over the top and chokeslams Christian. Five star from Van Dam finishes and the champs retain. This way Christian goes over for the IC title, and we get a good Raw tag title match at the PPV to go along with it. Feedback is encouraged.
