Guest Fook_Hing_Ho Posted May 14, 2003 Report Posted May 14, 2003 But don't worry, they're NOT turning into WCW.
Guest AndrewTS Posted May 14, 2003 Report Posted May 14, 2003 ...the PPV is in Charlotte, it's THE Ric Flair country. I think the match will get a reaction, but it'll be more so because of Flair than anything else, which just might in turn have HHH be almost a face in the match, while Kevin Nash will be booed...a lot. Either way, there is no doubt that Ric Flair will be the most over, and if it is the main event, a lot of people who would otherwise leave, will stick through it just to see their "hero" and legend. Which is what I was saying the day after Backlash. I truly think HHH knows this, but doesn't care what happens to Nash in the match. Hey, he has his title, and after Nash bombs horribly as champion, he was swoop in and "save" the title from his buddy.
Guest Just call me Dan Posted May 14, 2003 Report Posted May 14, 2003 Triple H will smell like a rose in the match, and Nash will get shit on. He's not getting the title after squashing and "pinning" all the heels on RAW and basically this killed any hopes of Booker T getting a transitional reign before the Summerslam Goldberg and Triple H match.

I think he'll get a reign. Remember the Chamber match? Was HBK actually extremely over or deserve the title? He'll win it but lose it back to Trips.
Guest Just call me Dan Posted May 14, 2003 Report Posted May 14, 2003 I just can't see it being fit in. Booker would have to face Triple H in these next few months and win. Shawn getting that title would have been equivalent to Nash's prophecized title win, but HBK was not getting shit on. It's possible, I just don't see it happening. I thought Nash would get it to set up Booker taking the title shortly thereafter and Trips reclaiming it from Booker before the Goldberg match. Having Booker beat Triple H would be awesome, I just don't know.
Guest AndrewTS Posted May 14, 2003 Report Posted May 14, 2003 Brock was heatless until Summerslam night. Nash has been either heatless or getting "heel" chants. So they'll turn him heel and give him the belt.
Guest RavishingRickRudo Posted May 14, 2003 Report Posted May 14, 2003 I can see Shawn turning on Nash at the PPV thus setting up a kliq 3 way at Bad Blood.
Guest Memphis Posted May 14, 2003 Report Posted May 14, 2003 Nash has been either heatless or getting "heel" chants. So they'll turn him heel and give him the belt. Great. So then they can build up Goldbitch's streak again and have Nash kill it a second time. Yee-haw, recycled WCW storylines RULE. M
Guest AndrewTS Posted May 14, 2003 Report Posted May 14, 2003 I can see Shawn turning on Nash at the PPV thus setting up a kliq 3 way at Bad Blood. Yaaaaaaay!! That'll pull the company out of the shitter. Probably throw in Jericho so he and HBK can have a decent match while the Lumber Twins brawl with each other.
Guest JDMattitudeV1 Posted May 14, 2003 Report Posted May 14, 2003 I can see Shawn turning on Nash at the PPV thus setting up a kliq 3 way at Bad Blood. I thought it was HHH/Goldberg at Bad Blood? I don't know which one is worse, it's like being asked if you would rahter be kicked in the head or kicked in the balls, either way it's going to hurt.

M Oh, if I wasn't almost positive HHH was going to get the honor of breaking the streak, I'd say hell yes that's what they'll do. It will be a Cliq member most certainly, though.
Guest The Tino Standard Posted May 14, 2003 Report Posted May 14, 2003 For as long as I've been wanting to see HHH get the title taken from him, I have to go in reverse here and say that if Nash wins this weekend, they're smoking crack. Well, I mean, I know the WWE brain trust must be on SOMETHING these days, but you know... Nash has been absolutely shat upon since his return. HHH might suck. HHH might be an asshole. HHHe might even have all the finishes of his matches changed to suit himself. But at least HHH is CAPABLE of putting on a good match. Normally, he doesn't, but at least the possibility is there. I don't think Nash is physically capable of putting on a watchable main event caliber match anymore. They CANNOT be so stupid as to put the belt on him this Sunday... can they?
Guest RavishingRickRudo Posted May 14, 2003 Report Posted May 14, 2003 Jericho vs. Goldberg @ Bad Blood - Jericho puts Goldberg over for HHH (as always) so that Goldie vs. HHH is set up for Summerslam. What will Kevin Nash do after this? He's to smart to become Scott Steiner and I doubt his good buddy HHH would allow that anyways. He has to be kept up the card, HBK is hanging around for some reason, and HHH has nothing to do after the PPV. You don't think these guys stayed up late at night saying "man, it would be great if we had a 3 way together"...
Guest AndrewTS Posted May 14, 2003 Report Posted May 14, 2003 They hired Nathan Jones. They thought the necrophilia angle was a good idea. They centered Wrestlemania around two old men. They gave Hogan the Undisputed Title last year. They hired Goldberg. Two words: Al Wilson. Never underestimate the stupidity of WWE. You don't think these guys stayed up late at night saying "man, it would be great if we had a 3 way together"... That sounds too damn "slashy" to me.
Guest RavishingRickRudo Posted May 14, 2003 Report Posted May 14, 2003 What? I meant a 3 way match! A THREE WAY MATCH! in other news, I bet they also said during the conversation on the 3 way that they'd like Ric Flair and millions of others to watch... ... THE MATCH.
Guest William E Posted May 14, 2003 Report Posted May 14, 2003 I think a better question is whats the chance that they both won't injure each other, I mean it's HHH and Nash for godsakes.
Guest Nanks Posted May 14, 2003 Report Posted May 14, 2003 Until it was pointed out the match is in Charlotte I was going to suggest some people might even leave, but they'll stay for Flair. Fuck all these injury angles though, we want some REAL goddamn injuries. I want to see the crowd go up for Hebner making the X over a fallen Nash. This is the one time I want to see Hunter win. Nash just couldn't be worse if he tried. My brain hurts thinking about how bad this could be.
Guest Smell the ratings!!! Posted May 14, 2003 Report Posted May 14, 2003 if you watch the ppv (you have my pity) watch HHH play the good guy in this match. now is he doing this because: A) He knows his opponent is hated. B) He knows his "manager" is over like Jesus. C) He is a gigantic ass.
