I used Final Cut Pro 2 to do all of the editing, and it took me like 25 hours to make a 10 minute movie. It is called Drink, Drank, Drunk and it is about how Southampton College has nothing better to do then drink. There isn't much of a storyline to it, but for my first documentary, I think I did a pretty good job. I focused the most on transitions, the music, the camera angles, and the humor in it. I will eventually put it online, even though I am sure a lot of people will say it sucks because people do that here. Anyway, has anyone else made a movie before? What is about and what program did you use to make it?
Guest What? Posted May 14, 2003 Report Posted May 14, 2003 I'm currently making a WWII Movie in my film class. It's a Mel Brooks-esque parody, so its got cheap one-liners and sight gags. I play a blind English sniper AND the German sniper who I have an "Enemy at the Gates" style dual with. I like it. EDIT: And, I'm using iMovie to make it. Yaaaaaay
Guest HBK16 Posted May 14, 2003 Report Posted May 14, 2003 Me and a few friends from when I used to work at a movie theatre were going to make a movie about Residents Evil. We had like 10 people in the plan, like 50 diferent outfits, fake guns, 3 diferent cameras and even an abandoned 3 story office building. The building wasnt enormous. It was kind of like large house. It was pretty cool. Well we had the story written down, each person had the role of atleast 3-5 diferent zombies. I myself had the role of 2 zombies and a cop. Since we all worked at a movie theatre for the exception of like 2 people, we made everything professional. So on our like 4th day of filming, we put all our costumes, guns, and camera outside the building and it all got stolen. After that we lost hope.
Guest What? Posted May 14, 2003 Report Posted May 14, 2003 The Requirement is 10-30 minutes. Ours will probably be 15-20. Should be good. The one my girlfriend is in has the stupidest plot ever. She steals Debbie Does Dallas, and the guy gives chase, Matrix style. Then, he keeps asking people, "Hey, have you seen Debbie?" and they think it's a missing person.
