Guest Quik Posted May 14, 2003 Report Posted May 14, 2003 I think he simply has a very rare and powerful disease called "Old Age".
Guest Hogan Made Wrestling Posted May 14, 2003 Report Posted May 14, 2003 They should team Nash up with RVD. It would make for some entertaining backstage skits, at least. *Nash walks in the room, RVD is sprawled on the couch with a bag of munchies and a movie on, smoke is drifting up to the ceilling* NASH: What are you doing RVD? We've got a match in an hour! RVD: Whoa whoa man, chill out. I came in, my watch said 4:20, and I decided to kick it back and relax. *Nash looks at RVD, thinks for a second* NASH: Cool. *Nash lies out on the couch and grabs a bag of chips*
Guest Fook_Hing_Ho Posted May 14, 2003 Report Posted May 14, 2003 Nash got largely over due to his size, promos, and politics. Nowadays, with smarkier crowds, fans view size as irrelevent compared to workrate, and there is a larger percentage of fans who won't accept someone in the main event purely through politics. And I haven't even mentioned how much his promos have deteriorated... "I'm goin'. Bye."
Guest Austin3164life Posted May 14, 2003 Report Posted May 14, 2003 Nash is one of the worst drawing main eventers in history. Why would he suddenly be mega-over now?
Guest bravesfan Posted May 15, 2003 Report Posted May 15, 2003 maybe the crowds are dead because kev is inherantly worthless and it is obvious. Nash has been worthless in the ring since 1996 - that doesn't explain why his heat has diminished, which was ALWAYS there, despite his lack of in-ring ability.
Guest evilhomer Posted May 15, 2003 Report Posted May 15, 2003 I think his bitching, whiny voice that he gets while cutting the intense promos does a lot of damage. It's very uncool and his previous coolness was pretty much his only redeaming quality. The smark concentrated crowds are also a major factor. Nash himself has always been largely hated by smarks, and his main event push for no apparent reason gives more fuel to this hatred. They should team Nash up with RVD. It would make for some entertaining backstage skits, at least.
Guest Big McLargeHuge Posted May 15, 2003 Report Posted May 15, 2003 It's either INTENSE~! angry big man Nash or calm, cool, makes little inside jokes that about .02 percent of the audience would understand, Nash. I'd personally prefer him off my screen. And with the press of a single button, it is come to pass.

I say since he put wrestling boots on for the first time.
