Guest Youth N Asia Report post Posted May 15, 2003 Buffy wasn't canceled...they choose to end it. Being canceled makes it sound like no one wanted it anymore. Buffy and Oz (which aslo wasn't "canceled") are the only 2 I'll miss from that list. I thought some of those shows had been dead a while...Celebrity Death Match? Guest treble charged Report post Posted May 15, 2003 'Do Over' was a good show with a pretty cool concept, too bad it got canned. How that show got the ax while crap like 'Good Morning Miami' is allowed to stay on a major network like NBC, I'll never know.
Guest Youth N Asia Report post Posted May 15, 2003 it just amazes me how many shows just don't make it. You'd think these people would be in the business long enough to look at a show and know if it has "it" or not

I thought CDM was canceled along time ago. Oh well, I didn't like the show that much anyway.
Guest El Satanico Report post Posted May 15, 2003 farscape (sci_fi) This is old news but anyway here I go... Fuck Sci-Fi for cancelling this great show. Fuck Fox for buying lame shit like Dark Angel, when they could've had a show like Farscape that had great writng and a built in fan base. Of course Fox being the fuckheads they are would've given it a death sentence...aka Friday night time slot.
Guest Mole Report post Posted May 15, 2003 Exactly, so there goes Boston Public.
Guest El Satanico Report post Posted May 15, 2003 Boston Public is dying anyway, so it moving to Friday is just youthanasia
Guest Mole Report post Posted May 15, 2003 Yeah, but I guess they really want to kill it then. I still don't understand why Fox moved Dark Angel to Fridays. I never watched the show, but once I saw that they moved it to Fridays, I knew it was the death of the show. The target audience for the show are 17-25 year olds, and they usually go out on Friday nights. Stupid Fox, they believed they could get the same magic that X-Files had. I don't want to sound mean, but people who watched X-Files generally didn't go out on Fridays, I believe.

Guest Hogan Made Wrestling Report post Posted May 15, 2003 Has ABC released its fall lineup yet? I'm hoping Dragnet and The Practice stick around. After the season finales, I feel the former is the most likely one to survive.

Guest areacode212 Report post Posted May 15, 2003 Has ABC released its fall lineup yet? I'm hoping Dragnet and The Practice stick around. After the season finales, I feel the former is the most likely one to survive. Yes, and they'll both survive. I heard Dragnet will be renamed to L.A. Dragnet. TP will be moving back to its old Sunday @ 10 timeslot. So for DEK, this should soften the blow from Boston Public being moved to Fridays. I used to be a fan of The Practice, but nowadays, I pretty much hate everything about it. I tried watching that Andie MacDowell episode, and it was so bad, I turned it off after 10 minutes. Guest BifEverchad Report post Posted May 15, 2003 I can honestly say there isnt ONE show on that list that I watch..
Guest Miss Indy Queen Report post Posted May 15, 2003 Ok I see John Doe on that list (I wasn't much of a fan of that show) but Fastlane isn't listed there. I thought it was going to be cancelled?
Guest Youth N Asia Report post Posted May 15, 2003 I thought Ed ended its run... Anyway, why does Fox think that just cause X-Files did well on Fridays that anything can? They seem to move shows there that they could care less if they make it or not. But I viciously hate the very unrealistic Boston Public to begin with, so I'll be happy when it's gone. Guest Spaceman Spiff Report post Posted May 15, 2003 Ed got renewed Spaceman Awesome. Where'd you see/hear that? I'm *still* pissed I missed the season finale.
Guest The Tino Standard Report post Posted May 15, 2003 Ed is coming back, baby. Tino is dancing in the streets. Call it a miracle if you like, but Ed was shipped into the Dead Zone (Fridays at 9pm) and still survived into next year. The show did so well that they're giving it the old Wednesday at 8pm timeslot back. Now THAT is a fanbase with some loyalty.
Guest Galactic Gigolo Report post Posted May 16, 2003 do over (wb) john doe (fox) off centre (wb) They forgot about Fastlane too. I'll miss all four of those. Nothing else caught my interest. I would've ended up liking both MDs and Presidio but the dumbasses put them AGAINST each other. Two MEDICAL DRAMEDIES. Dumb fucks. And since when did MTV cancel their "let's tape 21 year olds partying" shows? MTV brings in eighteen shows each season that do the same exact thing for six episode run, and then never speak of them again. Short Cuts, which was a TNN show that spoofed a film in a five minute short, and the other 25 was footage of the film's making, actually was filmed at my videostore. I was there during the day of the taping, and they replaced all the boxes with those that said, "Blockhead Video." I stole one of the boxes, and its been the haven for my pot for two years. Guest bravesfan Report post Posted May 16, 2003 agency, the (cbs) do over (wb) Damn. There goes two of the primetime shows I actually watched (though I admit, I've failed to remember Do Over's timeslot on a frequent basis). Hell, you might as well screw me over and cancel King of Queens to rub salt in my wounds.
