Guest tpww7 Posted May 15, 2003 Report Posted May 15, 2003 According to Meltz --Sabu no showed last night's TNA PPV. Not sure as to why, since his wife was there. He was supposed to do a run-in late in the show.
Guest oldschoolwrestling Posted May 15, 2003 Report Posted May 15, 2003 I've heard many times that he double books shows and that usually causes him to no-show somewhere. But if his wife was there? Damn.
Guest SeanO'HaireMark Posted May 15, 2003 Report Posted May 15, 2003 I am a big sabu fan but damn he never seems to do anything right with NWA. I hope this does not force them to cut off working with him for good.
Guest Morality Check Posted May 15, 2003 Report Posted May 15, 2003 Sure, Sabu no-showed... and yeah, that's like a slap-in-the-face to NWA-TNA. But, let's ask ourselves a few questions here... What does Sabu really bring to the table anymore? What does/would/could he do to make NWA-TNA better? That's what I thought, folks. Over and Out.
Guest ViciousFish Posted May 15, 2003 Report Posted May 15, 2003 Sabu is pretty much done. Without insane high spots (which he can't really do anymore with an regularity) what skills does he have? he had a few good matches in ECW and that's about it.
Guest Lightning Flik Posted May 15, 2003 Report Posted May 15, 2003 I wonder why Sabu no-showed. Especially with his wife there.
Guest ShooterJay Posted May 15, 2003 Report Posted May 15, 2003 So can we please not have Sabu on TV anymore now?
Guest Galactic Gigolo Posted May 15, 2003 Report Posted May 15, 2003 : : shocked : : Sabu did something to reenforce that "complete dick" image everyone has of him? Fire him. Forget about him ever being there, resign Raven, and go with it.
Guest RedJed Posted May 16, 2003 Report Posted May 16, 2003 Sure, Sabu no-showed... and yeah, that's like a slap-in-the-face to NWA-TNA. But, let's ask ourselves a few questions here... What does Sabu really bring to the table anymore? What does/would/could he do to make NWA-TNA better? That's what I thought, folks. Over and Out. Exactly, he's basically worthless. His one week back (last week) saw him work sluggish and going through the motions. He had a look on his face the entire time like he either didn't want to be there or could give a fuck less about what he's doing anymore. Why bother with another Jeff Hardy, only worse? It amazes me how after all the shit he's pulled in this business, that anyone still even tries to sign him up. I hope he doesn't come back.
Guest Sandman9000 Posted May 16, 2003 Report Posted May 16, 2003 Name value. When people mention Sabu, they still have the image of young, crazy Sabu in their heads, and they open their wallets. Nevermind that Sabu has been in slow motion since '97.
