Your favorite hbk match

I've also been watching alot of Shawn Micheals matches lately as well. So what is your favorite HBK match and why?

 

I would have to say that his match with Mankind is easily my favorite HBK match. Mankind AND Shawn bumped their asses off. Their was never a dull moment. The only weak part was the ending but after the hell they put each other through, neither one of them deserved to lose that match.

I would say HIAC.  Shawn took the mother of all ass kickings, I rank this over HBK/Mankind because at least Shawn pinned Taker, instead of it being a dq or no contest.

 

side note: Shawn and Mankind had a great match on Raw in late 97, the night Rude re-debuted. I have to go find that tape.  Do you remember that one.

Its been five years since I've seen it but I remember the crowd was confused because they didn't know who to cheer for.

I'd add his IC title winning match with Jeff Jarrett to the list..also his match with Austin at the KOTR, crazy ECW-esq finish asside it was a damn good match.

Although I always like to share my views on HBK (d-bag!) I think his best match was vs. The Undertaker from Badd Blood.  Great performances from both HBK and Taker and it really made the Hell in The Cell something special for the WWF.  Unfortunatly Taker/Bossman from WM15 ruined that.

Around the time the Midnight Rockers jumped to the WWF and back to the AWA for a short time before jumping back to the WWF they did a program with the Rock and Roll Express that was very cool. It was my first glimpse at HBK's future cocky heel run in the WWF.

I'm not a big Shawn Michaels fan but I would either have to go with Shawn Michaels Vs. Razor Ramon from WWF WrestleMania X or Shawn Michaels Vs. Marty Jannetty from WWF Raw in 1993.

Having finally seen the HIAC match at Badd Blood, I have to lean towards Michaels/Mankind at Mind Games. Just a non-stop match with crazy bumps. HIAC seemed so slow and boring before they got out of the cell.

Hbk/Ken Shamrock at Dx. Shawn as a cocky heel was just so great to see. And against Ted Dibiase on Hottest Matches. Damn good match. I like thowing out titles that are a little diffrent and some matches we might forget.

My favorite match period is the ladder match at Wrestlemania X, so I think it gets a nod.

 

Other than that, I'd say it's a tie between the match with Mankind at Mind Games and the wicked brawl with Diesel at IYH: Good Friends, Better Enemies.  The first a bump-fest, the second a galaxy-class beatdown involving Mad Dog Vachon's artificial leg - can't really top that for me.

I'd have to go with HBK/Bret WM12 since I was there LIVE right under where HBK started his zip-line thing. I guess I'm biased.
