I am looking for RVD to have quite a lenghty run as IC champ, but who will he feud with? Here are a few that I'd personally love to see. RVD Vs....

 

1) Brock Lesner

 

2) A.J. Styles

 

3) Rhyno

 

4) Chris Benoit

 

5) Lance Storm

 

...would those not make for some kick ass matches over the IC title? I think so, heheheh. Anyhow...

 

...what about you guys? Also, who do you think will FINALLY beat him for the IC title?

Benoit,Storm,or Rhyno,but since Benoit and Rhyno are out right now Storm is my first choice,how great would this feud be if they let Storm not be a loser

I would like to see him feud with Angle, Mr. Perfect or Edge. I think Regal will take the title from him (I know).

Out of the five guys you listed, I'd have to say Lance Storm.  Hopefully Benoit won't have to settle for the I-C title anymore when he comes back.  I'd also like to see some RVD-Perfect matches.  DAMN, I wish Eddy was still around!

I used to like Regal but uggggggh his matches with RVD were so boring and the people he was up against made him the worst ic champ ever not that i think hes a bad wrestler but if there were more people there to complement his style he could be a good champ

Storm would probably be my first pick also. After seeing them compete in two very good matches together, there's no doubt in my mind that they could have an excellent series of matches given the time and good motivation.

 

Other picks would include Booker T, Tajiri and DDP.

Fuck, that's probably what Benoit will get screwed into being when he returns, but as I said, I hope he can get above that and stay there.

You know, I like Edge as a singles star, but he and Christian are somewhat boring of late.  Maaaaybe...nahhh.

 

I'd like to see Booker back in face country.  In any case, I think Storm would be a great choice for a feud, or Christian, or Booker.  Just want to see some middleweights mixing it up and putting on 10-minute matches, and that'll make me a happy, happy boy.

I'd love to see Storm feud with RVD.

 

But I can't see it happening, due to the fact that he is being beaten by Val twice this weekend alone.

 

You need to build Storm up over the next few months for him to get a shot at RVD.

 

I think a Booker and RVD feud would be pretty sweet.

Build up Storm for a couple of months (wipe the loser stigma off of him), then have them tear up the midcard for the rest of the year, with little side challenges from Booker and Edge along the way.

 

And if Angle can escape from Jakked purgatory (where he's sure to be sent courtesy of Triple H the King of INTENSE~, maybe throw him a bone and have him job to RVD on Heat sometime in October

Fueds RVD Should have

1. Eddy (Frogspalsh vs Frogsplash)

2. Beniot (hopefully there styles wont clash)

3. Edge (Not A Stale face Edge but a heel gothic Edge)

4. Storm (Already proved they can work Great together)

5. Kurt Angle (I hope angle can get back to main event status but if not a feud with RVD Would be Good)

See, RVD has always done well against opponents the same size as himself who have no charisma or heat.  Jerry Lynn was a great opponent for him because Lynn could leech off his heat to get over, but also put up a heck of a fight in the ring.  

 

The thing you always hear is "Benoit has no mic skills, no heat, blah blah."  Put him in a feud with RVD and Benoit can easily get some heat from RVD and also have some awesome matches.  Eddie is a great idea as well, but it is doubtful Eddie would beat RVD since he is just getting back from his alcohol troubles.  Storm is another in a line of heatless but solid technicians RVD could face.

 

Ultimately I see a bid dude like Lesnar taking the IC title in somewhat controversial fashion.  Either that or RVD keeps it for two years and then breaks his leg....uh, wait.  As far as Rhino goes, his matches in ECW against RVD were nothing great so I could care less about that matchup.

 

I don't much want an Angle/RVD feud either....I can just imagine a repeat of the Angle/RVD flame war that started back when RVD was busting Angle open day and night.
